Dragon Age: The Veilguard Concept Art Shows A Cut Companion, Who You Might Recognise From Inquisition

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was almost a very different game, and likely wouldn't have even been called Dragon Age: The Veilguard if it had launched during one of its previous iterations. Over the course of its development, the company went through several drafts, but we can still see traces of the Veilguard gang we would come to know in the concept art.

Yet there is one companion we can see in these pieces that never made it into the final game: Calpernia. If that name sounds familiar, it's because she was actually in Dragon Age: Inquisition, appearing in the story if you recruited the Templars. We already knew that she was considered as a potential companion, but we now have a piece of concept art that shows her with the rest of the Veilguard crew, suggesting that she was in a draft of the story for quite some time.
