Developer and publisher Techland has announced a brand new update for zombie sandbox Dying Light: The Beast, and if you're sick of zombies getting back up to wreak havoc once you've killed them, this is the update for you.

As reported by IGN, the new Restored Land update, which also serves as a new edition of the game for those who haven't bought it yet, will bring a new persistent world feature in which enemies and loot don't respawn after you've dealt with them. The update is set to launch on March 26th.

As you kill enemies, the land will gradually fill back up with humans and revert to its pre-apocalyptic state, so if you've found Dying Light's zombie-infested worlds just a little too bleak so far, then Restored Land could be what changes your mind.

As well as the Restored Land persistent world feature, the new update will also bring vehicular challenges to test your driving skill, as well as a new hardcore permadeath mode that will delete your save file as soon as you die (no, really).

If you're not familiar with Dying Light: The Beast, it's Techland's latest entry in the Dying Light series...
