Capcom has released a new update for Resident Evil Requiem, which brings the game up to version 1.3.1. Resident Evil Requiem was released in February, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Resident Evil Requiem brought back Leon S. Kennedy as one playable character, alongside newcomer Grace Ashcroft as the second playable character. Leon's gameplay focuses more on action than survival horror, which is highlighted in both the main game and DLC.
More DLC is planned for the future, including new story material. At this time, Capcom has offered little information about what to expect, but rumors claim Resident Evil Requiem's story DLC is coming in 2027. That means players could have a substantial wait ahead, but it's possible that more updates and modes could be offered in the meantime.
