Riot Games has announced that Riftbound: The League of Legends TCG is coming to South Korea, with a Korean-language edition of the Origins set launching in September 2026. Korean will become the fourth officially supported language for the game, marking a significant step in Riot’s push to grow Riftbound into a truly global TCG.
The expansion into South Korea is more than a localization – it’s a cultural homecoming of sorts. League of Legends has deep roots in Korea’s competitive gaming scene, and Riot is leaning into that history. A commemorative item honoring T1, winners of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship, is currently in the works, though details are being held close to the chest for now.
Players in the region won’t have to wait until September to get their hands on the game, either. Riftbound will have a presence at MSI Fan Fest, running July 3–12 at the Daejeon Convention Center II in Seoul, where attendees can try localized demo decks between matches.
