BDSM isn’t a bad twin-stick shooter at all it just doesn’t feel like it does anything original from a gameplay perspective.
The beautifully drawn visuals and soundtrack that always seems to fit what is going on further makes this a standout visual novel. If you enjoy this genre this is one you shouldn’t miss.
If you missed The Alliance Alive on the 3DS and enjoy JRPGs then I highly recommend you pick up The Alliance Alive HD Remastered.
In the end if you want something a bit deeper on the combat side look elsewhere but if you’re fine with a big world to explore and simple combat mechanics consider taking on this quest.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is an almost perfect remake of a classic title.
If you’re like me and missed this on PC don’t remain out in the cold, come in and see why it’s so good.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch might not be the best version of this game available but it is the only one that you can play on the go. At its budget price I highly recommend it even though it doesn’t have any new content that the PS4 and Xbox One versions don’t have.
If you’re a fan of Sniper Elite and want another option to take with you on the go than Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition is well worth a pick up.
There is no doubt that the subject matter that Agatha Knife is built on won’t be for everyone but if any of this sounds interesting to you than I recommend it. It isn’t challenging and the controls can use some tuning but I love the art style the developers went with for this game and the dark story mixed with humor was enjoyable from start to finish for me.
I never played these games until they released on consoles a couple years ago but Amnesia: Collection became one of my favorite horror games once I finally did get that chance to play it. The graphics do show their age but I still feel like it’s a must play collection of horror games for anyone who hasn’t experienced it.
Bus Simulator is the type of game you fire up when you just want a more calm and slow experience. Just cruising along my routes, picking up customers, and handing out tickets was a tranquil experience. That said it does get old after awhile and this won’t be the kind of game for everyone.
At such a low price there is absolutely no reason for fans of platformers and all things retro to not take the plunge. Achievement hunters can earn a healthy chunk of gamerscore within a few hours as well. I, for one, wouldn’t mind seeing where Elena Temple’s next adventure takes me
WRC 8 is the perfect entry for both longtime players and for those who maybe have skipped the past one or so. The series has never been better with this latest entry receiving major improvements both in the career mode and in the visuals.
Root Letter: Last Answer is an interesting visual novel for a variety of reasons and may or may not be for you. The story is very intriguing and full of surprises and for that I highly recommend playing it. If you already played the original three years ago though I’m not entirely sure this retread will be worth your time.
Niffelheim will likely appeal to fans of survival games but could be a bit too repetitive and obtuse to those who aren’t.
If you enjoy these types of games you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck in The Sojourn.
The wait for Uchikoshi’s next game was well worth it as AI: The Somnium Files delivers a fantastic murder mystery storyline. It’s dark, serious, and horrific yet also funny and charming at times too.
If you do pick it up though you’ll be getting a fun action game with unique characters backed by a wonderful art style and soundtrack.
While the combat mechanics weren’t very deep or innovative the dark storyline of Crystar is what you really should be checking this game out for.
Man of Medan is a thrilling introduction to this new anthology and while the buildup is somewhat slow and the ending was an anticlimax, everything in between was a treat and proves yet again that Supermassive has a good grip on the horror genre.
