You won’t be challenged in this game but you’ll walk away with plenty of smiles and fond memories, especially if you play it with a friend.
Meow Motors is a great racer if you’re looking for some good old arcade fun and aren’t looking to spend too much. It may not be purrfect, but you’re guaranteed to have a few hours of fun with it by yourself and it makes for a great local multiplayer experience to enjoy with your family and friends.
Wreckfest isn’t the prettiest racing game around but it is certainly the most destructive. The cars and damage models are very realistic and I really never got tired of trying to smash apart all of my opponents. The long load times are a bit of a bummer and I wish the game had local multiplayer support but I wouldn’t let either of those faults steer you away from smashing your way to victory in this game.
Solo: Islands of the Heart made me think about things that no game ever has before. In the end, I think that was Team Gotham’s goal all along.
SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo is another great addition the this classic lineup that has found a home on the Nintendo Switch.
Is Space Harrier on the Switch worth your time? Well it really depends on what you want out of it.
Despite a story that wasn’t very interesting and the jumping feeling a little floaty I would recommend Exception to fans of platformers.
Labyrinth Life to me is a good enough dungeon crawler but it doesn’t do a lot to stand out from other similar games in the genre
Telefrag VR does some interesting things but there may not be quite enough here to warrant giving this one a shot.
Wargroove is a great spiritual successor to the Advance Wars series and one I highly recommend to strategy game fans. It’s just a bit of a shame that this version released so long after the others and doesn’t have Cross-Play which can make finding online opponents difficult.
Tetsumo Party is very cheap to pick up but whether those few dollars are worth it will be up to you. It’s a very simple idea and it works well but personally I don’t feel like there is enough here to recommend it as I grew bored of it within thirty minutes.
It’s a great Metroidvania, action RPG with beautiful retro graphics and audio and fun combat and abilities. A couple old school mechanics may turn some away but otherwise this is a quality title.
I never truly felt scared or even at unease while playing Conarium. That’s perhaps the biggest disappointment that coloured my rather negative review of the game: It never succeeded at making me feel anything. The Literature inside the game somewhat does the source material justice, but it’s a short experience with its ~3 hours runtime that left me wondering what could have been.
Yes, Resident Evil 2 Remake is stacked with content, and so highly replayable that I completed both Leon and Claire’s 1st/2nd runs along with 2 other playthroughs because this game is that good! I’ll be shocked if this game DOESN’T end up as my Game Of The Year 2019.
Space Pirate Trainer is an incredibly fun wave-based shooter that will give you quite the work-out dodging all the incoming enemy fire. Leaderboard addicts will have a blast finding the optimal weapon-loadout and improving their run. It's an easy recommended for everyone with a VR set, especially at its low asking price
Monster Jam Steel Titans really isn’t much better than the other Monster Jam titles that have come before it and that is the tragic part about it.
Mini-Mech Mayhem is well worth jumping into for any fan of multiplayer table top games.
If having giant robot battles in space is your jam than War Tech Fighters is probably worth jumping into. While the story is forgettable, the actual combat and ability to upgrade and customize the War Techs was very satisfying and engaging to me.
This is still a good game that I recommend to anyone who is a fan of psychological horror titles but don’t go into it expecting to even come close to having your pants scared off.
I really can’t say enough about how disappointed I was with my time playing DayZ.
