Two Point Hospital was not originally made for the Nintendo Switch but this adaptation works so well that it's easy to forget about that. With its irresistible mix of addictive, engaging gameplay, surprising and delightful humor, slick and sharp gameplay and an audiovisual environment that looks and sounds just right, Two Point Hospital is an essential game not only for fans of management simulations but to everyone who owns a Nintendo Switch.

This platformer has plenty of levels to go through, most of them short ones, with varying levels of difficulty but sometimes their design feels too unbalanced, as if they were artificially tweaked to harden the circumstances. If its art style is commendable, the game's repetitiveness and short lifespan make it something more adequate for short game sessions, rather than an in-depth experience.

Lethis - Path of Progress on the Nintendo Switch is an interesting effort when it comes to a city building simulation, adding to it a steampunk aesthetic which is unusual in this style of games. However, the game's problems with performance, technical issues and overall behaviour turns out to be rather lacklustre, despite having somethings in its favour.

Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ on the Nintendo Switch is a visual novel that gets everything right. While there's not a lot of new gameplay paths to explore, the game's plot, art style, the choices involved, the soundtrack and the overall performance make this a work that will please everyone, and even though visual novels aren't everyone's cup of tea, Code: Realize most definitely deserves an opportunity.

Arc of Alchemist on the Nintendo Switch may look pretty and attractive when looked at its still pictures but that should not deceive anyone: this game has a poor performance, its plot and characters are completely uninspiring and the overall gameplay mechanics fail to compel and to entice the players. Add to that a steep launch price and there are very few reasons why anyone would want to spend too much time around this effort.

Double Cross on the Nintendo Switch is a game that tries to check too many boxes. It gets the job done on some instances, namely when it proposes an action and platforming experience, but it ends up becoming too dull and lacklustre when it comes to its combat and detective components. While some gameplay mechanics are well implemented, others turn out to be too stale and performance issues don't help to the overall experience.

Vitamin Connection is a title that gives away some of its plot elements. This fun multiplayer-focused experience benefits from a good, bright, colourful visual presentation and a very involving two-player gameplay component that takes full advantage of the Nintendo Switch capabilities. It works less well on solo and the game's soundtrack and regular backtracking end up becoming a bit too burdensome but for two players looking for some clean, wholesome (and healthy) fun, Vitamin Connection is definitely worth considering.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf sounds like something exciting. Unfortunately this adaptation for the Nintendo Switch ends up disappointing on nearly every front. Despite its original take on the card system and the wealth of Warhammer 40,000 lore, the game's weak performance, unbalanced combat, arbitrary tactical component and its obstacles to an enjoyable handheld experience make it something that doesn't deserve much attention within the console's catalogue.

Immortal Planet is the kind of game that raises expectations before a proper exploration but this work turns out to be a disappointing piece of gaming. Despite a good approach to combat mechanics, the game ends up harmed by its unappealing exploration, inconsistent level of challenge and its drab, dull and off-putting audiovisual environment, topped off by a mediocre performance which harms the overall flow of the game's experience.

Just Ignore Them has a certain charm, that's undeniable - with its extremely simple looks but able to create a tense environment at key moments, this short game has its value when it comes to its aesthetics. It doesn't stand out from other horror games when it comes to a lack of practical instructions able to give it an intuitive sense of exploration, though, and its very short lifespan means that those who will find it fun will quickly run out of enjoyment. Still, all in all, Just Ignore Them could have done worse for a low-budget work.

Bear With Me for the Nintendo Switch is a point and click adventure based on a detective investigation story and it does a good job at presenting a strong, emotional story with a very humorous overtone and a remarkable art style. Nonetheless, the fluctuating difficulty of its puzzles, the mediocre voice work and some problems with finding objects due to the very same art style end up feeling like obstacles. Fans of point and click games will be able to look beyond this, other players might feel less tempted.

One Night Stand is a good indication of what the game is about - indeed, this is a visual novel where the protagonist will have to navigate around the follow-up to an alcohol-fueled one night stand. A rather short and simple game but with plenty of different endings to keep the player interested, One Night Stand disappoints when it comes to its audiovisual environment, which is lacklustre to say the least and has almost nothing to listen to and feels like a too short experience.

While the loading times are often excessive and can feel like a burden, the game successfully creates a comic-like environment, which along with its soundtrack and attention to the way the missions are planned make this a very welcome entry in the Nintendo Switch catalogue and one which will fit well with anyone looking for a fun adventure.

Domiverse proposes a simple path for taking on the brawler formula and while it's certainly no luxury opus, it's minimally competent to keep players entertained to a certain level, thanks to its detailed characters and a fun challenge mode. However it also reaches its highest threshold fairly quickly, and its very simplistic formula and lack of online multiplayer will end up constricting Domiverse's possibilities to rise above other efforts in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Monster Jam Steel Titans on the Nintendo Switch will be welcomed by fans of monster truck racing thanks to its official license and to the rather sharp and enjoyable gameplay. Those who are not into this sport will enjoy the variety of game modes but they will also look beyond that and the game's flaws will stand out more easily: a lacklustre visual detail, glitches and lack of online component. Overall, anyone looking for a good driving simulation will find better offers elsewhere, but those curious about or interested in monster truck racing will no doubt find something to pay attention to.

Shovel Knight Showdown for the Nintendo Switch continues the series' steps in this emulated 8-bit world of tough, intense gameplay, this time with the added value of a story/campaign mode. With its variety of characters and mechanics that can work for fans of brawlers and fans of party games, Shovel Knight Showdown has a perfect recipe for local multiplayer, and sadly an absence of online multiplayer.

Spirit Roots for the Nintendo Switch brings a game in the form of a relatively simple 2D platformer. Simple, but challenging, especially where its level bosses are concerned - they can be quite tough, even for experienced players. And while this is not a blockbuster, it's clear that a very good work went into its artistic component. It may not give a lot of reasons to return to after finishing it, but Spirit Roots certainly earned its place among its peers.

Mosaic, a game about loneliness, redundancy and the tormenting bleakness of everyday life that makes us akin to robots repeating pre-programmed tasks to keep society working. This is not meant to be too harsh (or too kind) but Mosaic on the Nintendo Switch does manage to capture that void which seems to affect so many millions of humans in nearly every society on the face of the Earth. Pity that the way it behaves could not keep several errors and performance issues away, as the game often freezes and doesn't respond the way it would be expected to.

Mars Power Industries on the Nintendo Switch is not a jaw-dropping bombshell AAA title but that's hardly a sin - it's a simple puzzle game that works fine and does its job the way it should. Fun, entertaining, with a level of challenge that is enough to amuse and keep most players entertained for a while, Mars Power Industries does not need to bring in the heavy artillery to provide an enjoyable experience.

Street Outlaws: The List brings to the Nintendo Switch a gaming experience based on the Discovery Channel programme of the same name and for that very limited purpose of illustrating the show on a gaming format, it has a certain appeal. Unfortunately it has very little use outside that segment of the audience and with its bland and dull experience and very dated visual environment, Street Outlaws: The List adds nothing relevant to the driving games available on the Nintendo Switch.
