The Following expansion pack is a fantastic, enjoyable addition to an already great game, you'll bound not to find a dull moment within. By the end you'll be wanting to do nothing more than get behind the wheel and creating chaos as you speed across the dirt roads, taking down zombies in a field of blood splattering glory.

A great shooter that offers a surprising amount of variety and content. The mechanics may be simple but EDF 4.1 showcases spectacle above all else and it always proves to be thrilling.

6.5 / 10.0 - Cobalt

For a game with such novel and simple mechanics, they're a bit too hard to get to make it a casual battle couch game. The story never grasped me entirely, and although it's mildly enjoyable, it never gets much better than that.

A lack of variety and a bit of polish on the mechanics leaves the game feeling less like a release and more like a well-made flash game you might find online. With a difficulty rating that shoots sky-high in relatively little time, this is a game that only the hardest of hardcore players will complete and enjoy to its full potential.

5 / 10.0 - Crashlands

Mediocre, yet imaginative, Crashlands is a game for those with a strong stomach for repetitive gameplay and oddball humor.

A great RPG with an interesting backdrop and a ton of content, perfect for Digimon fans, with some issues that just can't be overlooked for non-fans.

Price aside, Aveyond 4 gives a good account of itself as a game, being well-made and charming. Just wait for a sale, as the current price may deter those not in the top 1%.

A perfectly functioning card game. Add two points to the score if you appreciate the majesty of the genre. For you, an 8.5/10. For the rest of us, 6.5.

7.5 / 10.0 - Layers of Fear
Feb 25, 2016

Ultimately, Layers of Fear exists as a chilling cinematic experience that is capable of more than a few scares along the way. Uncovering the game's narrative is largely enjoyable and will forever keep you guessing, as clues feel well paced and each horrifying set piece is related. The game may rely on a few too many jump scares and voice acting may feel off at times, but there's still no denying that Layers of Fears is a truly memorable and massively creepy experience.

Jaws made it scary to go into the water; this makes it seem all tranquil and comfy. A game absolutely worth playing if you love collecting or just want to relax.

7.5 / 10.0 - Unravel
Feb 22, 2016

Ultimately, Unravel presents itself as an unspoken story of lost love and a yearning for the past. Protagonist Yarnie is instantly loveable and is possibly one of the most likeable videogame characters in recent memory. The game shines through its stunning visuals, heartfelt soundtrack and unique platforming elements creating a truly unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, gameplay does lack substance, as it can be completed in just six hours and lacks any real replay value. These criticisms fortunately fail to tarnish the beauty and tranquility that is forever on display.

Another competent puzzler from Artifex Mundi, with improvements in the right places. Puzzles that are demanding yet fair, and a fantastic steampunk aesthetic. Next time, more story and more Matthew, please!

Between Me And The Night is a game that challenges some tough subjects, mental health is not something that many developers delve into. It's a shame that clumsy and vague puzzle design hold the game back. It's worth a few hours of your time if you don't mind relying on guides to help your progression.

Echoes of Aetheria is a surprisingly dense and engaging title, despite its visual simplicity. The throwback to old-style RPGs brings on a sense of nostalgia whilst remaining fresh and unique, with a deep storyline and thoroughly fleshed out characters to bring the game to life. Combat is varied and challenging, and crafting the right items can be a gamechanger. Dancing Dragon Games have succeeded in providing another charming and story-driven adventure to their repertoire.

If you're looking for an excellent neon filled twin stick shooter with awesome techno beats, you're not going to find it here and you'd be better off playing Geometry Wars or Resogun on PS4 (if you want something more original), but if you've played them all and you want more, then get this on sale as it is still a fun title.

With an aggravating protagonist and a messy structure, Rise of the Tomb Raider does not manage to bring Lara back to her full glory. Nevertheless, this game improves a lot in comparison to the prequel, and provides with uncountable moments of thrill and awe, particularly when in terms of puzzles and architecture.
