10 / 10.0 - Move or Die
May 7, 2019

While it does seem to focus on being grind-heavy with many modes and mutators needing to be unlocked with coins, you can enjoy yourself fully even with the bare bones, because the game is always shaking things up, and continually testing the boundaries of friendships and your sanity.

It's not even worth your thought time, never mind anything else.

5 / 10.0 - The Occupation
May 1, 2019

A great idea executed in a mediocre way. If you can deal with the lack of polish, there is an interesting game here.

Our World Is Ended is a beautiful looking visual novel that fails to live up to its promise. While it contains some enjoyable elements, its niche humour and oftimes uncomfortable erotic tones narrows its appeal severely. If a misunderstanding involving the sexual harassment of a 13 year old doesn't sound amusing to you, then chances are you won't enjoy this particular game.

If you’re a fan of My Hero Academia, I still highly recommend this game, and if you’re not, this one might change your mind, if the tiniest bit. After all, what game doesn’t have its quirks?

9 / 10.0 - The Textorcist
Apr 29, 2019

One of the most polished, well thought-out indie titles I've played recently featuring a solid theme, beautiful visuals and a learning curve that'd rival you-know-what… yeah, I reckon you should try this one.

7.5 / 10.0 - Cattails
Apr 27, 2019

Despite the repetitiveness, Cattails does provide a lot of different things to do from romancing other cats, to starting your own community of cats. It offers something different from the usual RPG game and is well worth checking out if you are tired of the cookie cutter RPGs out there.

The Division 2 is a vast improvement over its predecessor straight from launch. With improvements in every area of design, whether you're playing solo, with friends there is a wealth of content to keep you occupied. Right now, it's definitely worth the asking price and will certainly keep you coming back, but even if you wait there will be even more content to play in the coming years.

Apr 20, 2019

Until I Have You is really fun game with minor issues regarding the pace of its dialogue.

3 / 10.0 - Generation Zero
Apr 12, 2019

Periodically beautiful yet consistently broken, Generation Zero's brand of monotonous, sterile and bug-riddled open-world first-person shooting is something that you should avoid at all costs.

RICO is fun with a friend but don't expect more than a few hours of enjoyment.

9 / 10.0 - Cinders
Apr 11, 2019

Cinders' story had me hooked from beginning to end, while its compelling cast of characters, the themes it explores and its deviations from the traditional narrative of Cinderella made for a surprisingly poignant tale that I won't soon forget.

9 / 10.0 - My Memory of Us
Apr 5, 2019

My Memory of Us is a thoroughly rewarding game from various angles. The narrative is engrossing and touching, the gameplay is challenging and engaging, and the artistic style is glorious yet understated. It tackles a difficult subject but does so with care and the end result is a game that only further enhances the already deeply impressive Nintendo Switch catalogue.

A good remaster of a great game. If you're into hacking demons and/or angels to bits, Zelda-style puzzles or both, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will no doubt satisfy you.

6.5 / 10.0 - Game Dev Studio
Apr 1, 2019

It's a great achievement for a lone developer, but the choice of genre means that there are bigger games that do it better from larger companies. I can't say that you should rush out and buy it, but if you don't already have one of its competitors and want to help out a fledgling indie developer then it's worth a look.

Compile Heart has produced something that's more than a boob-based JRPG, with a very compelling story and a lot of interesting ideas.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tannenberg
Mar 24, 2019

If you're looking for a first-person shooter that is slightly different from the standard run of the mill FPS, Tannenberg is the way to go. Gameplay, the feel of the guns and map choice is all solid and makes for a great experience, but Tannenberg is held back by its lack of players and a mediocre class system.

Unless you're a huge, huge fan of the series, then I wouldn't go all out on this one, as the developers certainly didn't.

8 / 10.0 - Tetris 99
Mar 23, 2019

Barebones and no-frills it may be, but Tetris 99 is the best playing Tetris game in years and ultimately well worth downloading if you're a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber.
