Cerealkillerz's Reviews

Mar 13, 2018

The cheap technical improvements in the newest version of the collection are definitely not worth of such a great series. If you own the PS3 Collection don't bother with an upgrade. For newcomers it's still the best entry into the series because of the 1080p/60fps in the gameplay section.

Kirby Star Allies acts like a love letter to Kirby and Couch Co-Op Fans but keeps it really short and simple at the same time. Besides the 3-5 hours on story there isn't really much motivation to keep on playing besides some generic mini-games. If you're looking for some hours of colorful kirby multiplayer action you can still get this without hesitation.

The PC Version of the game runs surprisingly well in 4K and with max. settings and if you can live with a sometimes overdone level of fanservice and half naked anime girls you'll get a pretty good multiplayer shooter with a decent Singleplayer Part.

1 / 10.0 - Real Farm

If you're looking for the probably worst farming game out there, you found it.

8.2 / 10.0 - Moss
Mar 5, 2018

A short but lovely jump and run adventure that makes you ask for more of the same. For those who hungered for some good VR gaming, this is a must buy. For anyone else, the 30€ might be a bit steep for just 3 hours of story.

6.5 / 10.0 - Bravo Team
Mar 5, 2018

Bravo Team fails on the whole line and ends up as an underwhelming VR Shooter thanks to a non existent Story line and lots of technical issues.

Firaxis brought some fresh ideas with this add-on but old quirks from the main game also stayed in place. There's also missing a overseeable unit list and the AI still needs some improvements. Besides that Rise and Fall manages to keep the spirit of the series to try something new and is still a must have for fans of the series.

As expected the game has almost nothing in common with the Metal Gear we know and love. While it has interesting ideas and some well thought out mechanics, it ultimately fails to be fun because of overly grind-heavy and frustrating progression.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is the most beautiful and extensive title of the series so far but it stays mostly a generic shooter in its core. The enemy AI never really shines and besides the wide cast the story doesn't really deliver anything special to motivate you for the upcoming grind.

6.7 / 10.0 - Fe
Feb 18, 2018

Fe begins with a promising concept but ends up as uninspiring platformer that suffers from technical problems. The Artstyle and the gameplay make you hope for more but the game never really delivers anything special and doesn't really want you to explore the world it offers a little bit more than necessary.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition stills manages to surprise us even after nearly 20 years since the launch of the original game. Besides some poor optimization that come with nearly every windows store release and missing dedicated servers, the Remaster delivers a great new version of the classic that will make you fall in love again with the challenging campaign and the great ressource management.

The Secret of Mana Remake is an overpriced and carelessly implemented remaster of a timeless classic with a terrible art style and soundtrack selection. If you wanna enjoy the best version of this classic, get a SNES Classic Mini.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT offers one of the biggest packages of characters and fanservice in the series but manages to steer that in the wrong direction with a questionable progression system and a overloaded UI mixed with a unexciting gameplay and leaves the game only recommendable for hardcore Final Fantasy Fans.

Monster Hunter World exceeds all expectations and presents itself as one of the best entries of the series so far. Besides some minor issues with a overloaded UI and some questionable help mechanics the game manages to keep you on enjoying the grind and is definitely the best title in the series for newcomers.

6.9 / 10.0 - The Inpatient
Jan 22, 2018

The Inpatient ends up as poorly thought out walking simulator that not once manages to get out of Until Dawns shadow. There's not enough character development or horror elements in the short playtime of 2-3 hours to keep you motivated for a second playthrough of the game. If you enjoyed Until Dawn you'll still get a little bit of closure out of the story.

7.2 / 10.0 - ChromaGun

Chromagun is a solid and entertaining puzzle game in the style of Portal. Some of the riddle can really shine but the game suffers from technical problems and an unbalanced difficulty.

Dragonball Fighterz not only manages to follow in the footsteps of Budokai but surpass nearly every previous Dragon Ball Game. The new fighting system from Arc System Works fits perfectly into the series. It's still open if Bandai Namco will delivery enough content to keep players motivated after the launch of the game but besides a generic story Dragon Ball and Fighting Game Fans will get an amazing game here.
