Overall, Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory feels like a missed opportunity.

World of Darkness marks its return to the videogame scene with a simple, yet intriguing visual novel. It's not the most memorable story about vampires, but despite being a low budget game, it definitely has its good vibes.

Surely an interesting game, Phoenix Point nevertheless suffers from some opaque mechanics and too much micromanagement. Julian Gollop is proposing a valid spin on the X-COM formula, but Firaxis' War of the Chosen remains a bridge too far.

Four eras from the Gundam multiverse (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, SEED, 00 and Iron-Blooded Orphans) in this last chapter of a 20+ years long turn-based strategy games saga. Long, full of contents and a little bit bland in the graphic compartment.

A good narrative adventure, less impactful than the first Life is Strange, but a great message.

An entertaining spin-off that manages to retain the Darksiders vibe while shifting the perspective, offered at an inviting price point.

Kingdom Under Fire II is far better than it first seem but still not enough to stand next to giants like Final Fantasy or TESO despite its own strengths.

Black Future '88 is a good roguelike game that lacks in a compelling story, but shines thanks to a great cyberpunk atmosphere and an awesome chiptune soundtrack.

Sword and Shield are not the best entries in the series but, despite some hard-to-ignore faults, they're still fun to play.

A bad game that ruins a beautiful, brand new story of the most famous noir-cat in the world. Blacksad is better than ever, and "Under the Skin" is potentially the spin-off that every fan could dream of. As a game, unfortunately, it lacks of polishness, with terrible camera and controls, too much obvious and guided deductive mechanics and unconvincing pacing. Too many bugs sadly complete the mess.

Speaking of a video game of such importance, it is difficult to separate the nostalgia effect from the actual quality. While Shenmue III proposes itself exactly as it wanted to be, on the other hand it stumbles into a series of smears that go far beyond anachronism. The desire to appear in everything as the ideal sequel to a series frozen for eighteen years proves to be a double-edged sword. As much as Shenmue III manages to find internal coherence in its compact rhythm, one cannot overlook the obvious conceptual limits that undermine its overall quality. Yu Suzuki's title does not go beyond the "miracle" of his own existence, and as satisfied as it may be, even for the most dedicated fans it will be impossible not to admit an unpleasant aftertaste of lost opportunity.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is the most complete, balanced and technically successful episode in the series. Excellence is still missing, but we are really on the right track.

Terminator: Resistance is an old-school, low budget shooter that does not shine in any of its game mechanics, and offers a weak and uninspired experience, even for long-time Terminator fans.

In many ways Romancing SaGa 3 shows its age, but it remains one of the most fascinating JRPGs of the 1990s. This new edition allows us to rediscover it in the best way.

The first exclusive game for Stadia is not the one you always dreamt to see in the launch line-up for a new platform. Even if it's not that bad, is nothing to be excited about either.

A great action game that really shines in its combat mechanics and use of Force powers. If you love Star Wars and can't wait to restore the Jedi Order, then you will definitely enjoy Cal's journey, otherwise you could be disappointed by a game that, despite a fun gameplay, is not supported by a compelling story or unforgettable characters.

Stormland lacks a little in variety, but virtual reality is exploited to the full and the persistent nature of the game is intriguing to say the least. After Asgard's Wrath, another great VR game.
