Outward has a lot of potential, from the interesting death system to the complexity of the status effects, but the entire game is full of some big problems: clunky combat system, out-dated IA and rough (and superficial) gdr elements. Outward has definitely his little audience of early 2000-gdr lovers, and it's a bit charming in some ways, but in the end it's not even average.

Sunless Skies is a refined and more organic successor for Sunless Sea. The skies above London are full of intriguing events and charming characters depicted through a fancy, sharp and magnetic writing. The hybrid gameplay which mixes “choose your own adventure” elements with a classic RPG/roguelite scheme works well and offer a deep and satisfying experience. If you don't mind read walls of text and embrace the rhythm of the slow gaming, Sunless Skies is one of the best games around.

Jump Force is a very disappointing game and not only because of the choice to set the narrative on our planet. The low-deep combat system and the clumsy technical department outline a raw game, though full of interesting material to draw on. Paradoxically, the singular artistic direction is only the last of the problems of the game, which sees in its encyclopedic nature the only true good element.
