Pardis Game's Reviews

Mar 13, 2017

If we scrap the "Ghost Recon" out of the title, it makes Wildlands a bit more tolerable or at least doesn't ruin the name of the brand. Wildlands is a humongous game and this has spread the game thin, making its playability only f a couple of hours. If the game's scale in levels and design was a bit smaller and the narrative more comprehensible, the game on our hand would at least be enjoyable rather than the mess it is now. But with the giant amount of great games out there, spending 60 Dollars on GRW isn't so logical.

7 / 10.0 - For Honor
Mar 21, 2017

For Honor is one of the newest and of course one of the most interesting experiences at the current time, a game that'd easily claim to have the strongest and the most realistic Melee-weapon based combat system but sadly, the issues that we were hoping to be resolved by the time the final version was released were not yet fixed and at this time, it'd much better for you to wait for the updates in order to have a much more fixed and solid experience either from the game or from the servers because as you see, For Honor has completely the potential to entertain you with it's massive battles for hours.

8.5 / 10.0 - Linelight
Apr 19, 2017

Aside from its little issues, LineLight, being the very first creation from My Dog Zorro and an puzzle indie game, has done his mission by delivering us a fast-paced gameplay with deep riddles and an enjoyable music. I'd easily recommend this game, even for those who do not enjoy puzzle games that much, which I assure them that this game would be a innovative and enjoyable experience.

8 / 10.0 - Thimbleweed Park
Apr 25, 2017

Thimbleweed Park is a class in game development in every sense. Despite using 30 year old mechanisms and pixelated visuals, the fantastic narrative and characters plus awe inspiring dialogues and a great sense of humor, it's one of the best adventure games in recent memory. If you like an introduction to old school adventure, Thimbleweed Park is the one to go for

In overall, "Above The Law" is a completely futile and pointless episode and leads the plot to a total cliche', but thanks to its professional voice acting and its smart director, we were able to witness some impressive scenes which would attract players attention to itself

6 / 10.0 - The Crow's Eye
Apr 25, 2017

The Crow's Eye may draw its players attraction and involve them with the game, but the point is that the game changes its course and colors several times throughout the way, to the point that'd really hard to tell what are we playing at the moment. The game is full of riddles and puzzles but unfortunately those fail to challenge your mind. All of these aside, The Crow's Eye's ace card is its mysterious and pleasing story. Thus in overall, enjoying The Crow's Eye depends on how you look at it and

8 / 10.0 - Ys Origin
Apr 25, 2017

Ys Origin is a gate to the world of Ys and can turn its audience into fans. Though it looks quite old but thanks to high replayability and value Ys Origin still shines after a decade

6 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 25, 2017

Yooka Laylee is a move in the somewhat dead genre of 3D platforming and its presence between platforming giants like Ratchet & Clank and Super Mario Odyssey feels a great gap. What doesn't make this game satisfying however are the controls and camera which stick to the game from the get go and don't let go. Despite this, Yooka Laylee is recommended to the younger demographic considering its price and amount of content; even if the whole game might get underwhelming

7 / 10.0 - Lego Worlds
Apr 25, 2017

"Lego Worlds" is basically Lego Minecraft, though the game isn't flawless and the general shallowness hurts the experience. But in spite of all this, it's a great Lego game and there will be lots of fun waiting with in the multiplayer

7.5 / 10.0 - WWE 2K17
Apr 25, 2017

As the years pass, we get a little bit closer to the ultimate and complete WWE experience that fans have been waiting for for almost 6 years. A ring full of tension, heavy battles and outrageous finishers with a few issues is what you'd eventually get from WWE2K17. It may not satisfy its fan final expectations but it is also a proper and acceptable game, givingg you a fresh and enjoyable experience as you play and dig into the game

Despite all the positives Andromeda" is the worst entry in 10 years of Mass Effect. Flaws and setbacks in the narrative, characters and shameful bugs and technical issues and many other problems outweigh the positives from shining and turning the game to a title on par with the trilogy

9.1 / 10.0 - Hollow Knight
Apr 27, 2017

Despite not having any new idea to offer, by borrowing some elements "Hollow Knight" has become a quite astonishing metroidvania experience. Its artdesign is perfect and the soundtracks are ear catching. Its mysterious and puzzling environment encourages you to explore more of it and the awaiting battles are challenging and demanding. If you're a fan of metroidvania games then you should NOT absolutely miss this.

7.5 / 10.0 - Outlast II
May 5, 2017

Outlast 2 isn't the best, but it's still scary. Its story isn't brilliant but there are thought provoking moments. There's no characterization to it except for the protagonist but the polished visuals and sound makes you respect it. So all in all if you love horror at its terrifying peak, don't miss Outlast 2

"What Remains of Edith Finch" is a short but impressive experience. After the last Giant Sparrow's game namely "The Unfinished Swan" which was released five years ago, this company proves their talent in introducing new ideas in gameplay and narrative once again. Both mentioned games depict a positive and admirable view in life values in an appealing and creative way. If you are pursuing a short but impressive and thoughtful experience in order to find more about life and death, with no doubt the story of Edith Finch is made for you

4 / 10.0 - Drawn To Death
May 7, 2017

Not all good ideas are executed well but for a game to be this incoherent and aweful not in mechanics (which are at best mediocre) but in its presentation is something only David Jaffe can do! So I recommend Drawn to Death for only thise who have no self esteem whatsoever (or a high one not to care) and even than, the game isn't anytime more than a second hand product of much better titles
