Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is a big, catchy, and bloody game which shows both the pros and the cons of the original title and it mix them with some brilliant additional content. If you like the series and you didn't play the PC or Xbox One version, you should grab it.

6 / 10.0 - Hidden Agenda
Dec 15, 2017

Hidden Agenda is a funny - but very short - cinematic adventure game with a lot of QTE and social features, available only for PlayLink users.

Episode Ignis is the best proposed dlc of Final Fantasy XV. Thanks to a very fast and fascinating battle system, the hour of play can easily flow: besides the narration is at higher levels than the previous DLC and offers interesting additions.

End of Zoe is a disappointing DLC. It lasts two hours e show us how to do a step back from the main game. Joe Baker and his punches are a bad game design choices that will not convince even the fans of Resident Evil 7.

LocoRoco 2 brings to the table a solid platform experience that resembles too closely its predecessor. Homewever, the game is still higly recommended for all those who loved the first chapter.

6.5 / 10.0 - SpellForce 3
Dec 13, 2017

SpellForce 3 is the return of a good semi-classic, with its mixed nature made by RPG and RTS. The first one works well, but the second one is not so good.

6.5 / 10.0 - Doom VFR
Dec 12, 2017

Doom VFR doesn't quite live up to its original counterpart due to its limitations both in content and controls. There may be some enjoyment to be found for die-hard Doom fans, especially given the budget launch price, but even if living Doom in VR is a thrilling experience, it's stil too little to recommend the game to everyone.

Ode is a beautiful journey through sounds and colors, is experimentation and exploration in a dreamy world.

8 / 10.0 - Okami HD
Dec 11, 2017

Okami HD re-enacts on PS4 and Xbox One one of the most courageous and inspired game of the PS2 generation. An adventure that fuses Shinto mythology and and Japanese folklore into a "Zelda" structure, to develop a great painted legend. If the brush-based gameplay has aged very well, others minigames and some camera angles make evident it's a PS2 game. If you never play Okami on previous consoles, you should buy it at once; if you already possess it, it will attract you only if you're a collector.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is still a great game eleven years after its original release. This porting, homewever, feels incredibly lazy due to the little difference in comparison to the original release. This, along with the questionable price tag, makes this remastered not so easy to recommend.

5 / 10.0 - Kings and Heroes
Dec 10, 2017

Kings and Heroes has some good ideas, playing togheter is enjoyable in this MMORPG, but it has some real heavy problems.

Good job for the remastered, with brand new options for HD e 4K support. If you missed the game, now it's time to play a classic jrpg from the PS3/Xbox 360 era.

Road to the Olympics is an expansion that tries to make a different cut compared to the original game: more linear, more simulative and more challenging.

For those who haven't yet had the chance to play it, the PC port of World of Final Fantasy might be the perfect occasion to dive in the world of Grymoire. However we must also warn you about the lack of some graphical settings, the absence of 4K Widescreen resolutions and the fixed 30 FPS, even with higher resolutions; if all of this doesn't represent a problem then you can test yourself with this adventure without worries.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the third and final gem on the Nintendo Switch crown for this 2017, after Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey: it tells a moving story with easy to love characters and, most of all, mixes a great combat system with an amazing sense of discovery.

The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs bravely reintroduce a game mechanic from The Sims 2: the player won't be able to control the pets. This feature might be seen as a step back in the evolution of the franchise but it is actually a good design choice that adds more realism and focuses player attention towards the interaction between the Sims and their beloved little friends, creating a well-crafted simulation experience.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a step backward in this new spin-off series. It has a lot of content, but the episodic nature of the game has contributed some problems to the story and the gameplay, both of which are full of fillers. The conversion, at least, is good.

Resident Evil: Revelations is not one of the best game in the series, but had the advantage to come out between two of the worst chapters. This Switch version is well done and adds motion controls and a minigame.

7 / 10.0 - Black Mirror
Nov 27, 2017

The Black Mirror reboot revolves around dark family secrets, with a narrative that pays homage to classic gothic tales. Even so it has a lot of technical flaws: from graphics issues to bugs and bad animations, there's little to save from this point of view.

7 / 10.0 - Demon Gaze II
Nov 26, 2017

Demon Gaze II is very similar to its predecessor, improving in some areas (such as the combat system and the customization level) and making a step back in others (difficulty level, fan service). All in all, a solid entry in the DRPG subgenre, but nothing to write home about.
