The Diofield Chronicle is a low-stakes bet from Square Enix and Lancarse: a new IP that tries something new in a very conservative genre. We liked the end result, even if far from perfect, and we'd like also to see a better funded sequel in two or three years.

Dorfromantik is a relaxing and yet eye-pleasing experience that fits Nintendo Switch amazingly, despite some control issues on this platform.

Included in the PlayStation Classics collection offered to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, Syphon Filter 2 is an all-round sequel, able to demonstrate how it actually took very little to improve the ideas of the original chapter. The adventure of agents Gabe Logan and Lian Xing has aged quite well, despite belonging to a generation of consoles now very distant in time, representing in fact a great 32-bit classic to be rediscovered before immediately.

Voice of Cards has such a unique concept that it still feels entertaining after three episodes, but this series surely needs to find something fresh for the sake of its own future.

NBA 2K23 has everything needed in order to make NBA's fans fall in love, but it still has more than an aspect that needs improvement, from the IA to the intrusive microtransactions.

We're afraid no one missed the games included in this third entry of the Prinny Presents series: they're basic SRPG in the vein of the first Disgaea titles, and there's no reason to choose them over any other main entry in the Disgaes or Fire Emblem series.series

This final release for Grounded confirms that Obsidian gave its soul to the game, crafting a survival game which is still improvable, but unique in a lot of ways.

Return to Monkey Island is a perfectly judged return of an instant classic for the genre, with just the right level of complexity and challenge, aside from some minor quibbles.

Serial Cleaners, with its intriguing mood, feels like a Tarantino's movie. Unfortunately, it could have done better on AI, because you don't actually feel that something is at stake, when you face dumb enemies that wouldn't even notice a missing corpse.

Blind Fate: Edo No Yami finds its strength in some intriguing ideas, but it lacks balance and doesn't fully deliver what it tries to do.

Isonzo may be fascinating for people who enjoy historical settings in an FPS. Unfortunately, gameplay wise is far from perfect and it needs way more content to captivate its players.

Soulstice gives a good challenge to veterans of the genre and is a good choice for beginners, in a mix between Devil May Cry and Berserk.

It's a shame that NIS and Falcom both decided to bring Trails from Zero in Europe only after the vastly superior Trails of Cold Steel series. This way a very solid if formulaic JRPG as this does not get the attention it deserves, due also to a lazy remastering process.

Dominaria Unita is an expansion that evokes the past with more than one stratagem. It is a set that serves as the basis for the long 2023 of Magic. For this reason, it can give the idea of "already seen", even if there is no shortage of novelties and useful cards to rebuild your collection from Standard. A good homecoming, though not exceptional, to celebrate thirty years of the game, pamper the nostalgic and remind new players how, and where, it all began.

Temtem is fun and enjoyable, but it doesn't even try to reinvent the wheel, settling for just being a poke-clone.

As of today, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a fun and compelling life simulation experience, calm and entertaining. It is still to be seen what the game will become in the future, but for now fishing with Goofy has never been this fun.
