Cris Tales is based on an astonishing idea that could have innovated an entire genre. However, after few hours emerge some issues tied to underdeveloped combat mechanics and a scarcely balanced gameplay.

Despite the great premises of the story, in short, it is an old-fashioned additional content: in terms of quantity there is little to complain about, Ubisoft knows how to package products that are worth the asking price and it is no coincidence that even after the end credits you can continue to play freely; but, overall, we have on our hands something that reshuffs what has already been seen in the original title without major heartaches or commitments on production values, if not in the coherent and accurate realization of the two characters dear to the public of the saga.

The tactical approach is smart and well balanced, but we wished for more contents and modes.

Lost at Sea fails to tell a decent story about life and everything in between. It looks like a generic game with simplistic gameplay and a lot of downtime.

These visual novel are both a relic of the past, and not the ideal entry point for newcomers of the genre, but are still dark and fascinating trips in the beginning of Suda 51's acclaimed career.

F1 2021 embraces next-gen unlocking performances and introducing themes consoles had never met before, such as 120fps and ray tracing. On top of that, it improves its content offer with new modes and retains its successful, nuanced simularcade driving experience - and that, despite some old flaw, makes for one of the best racing games around.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin it's a little more than a "more of the same". The story, like the Monsties, are fun and engaging, but don't expect a masterpiece unless you're an hardcore Monster Hunter fan.

It won't certainly please veryone due to a peculiar storytelling style and worldbuilding mechanics, but Legend of Mana is still a unique, gorgeous and replayable JRPG that deserved a second chance on modern consoles. Give it a chance if you'd like to try something different.

NIS America played it safe with Disgaea 6 Defiance of Destiny, with the only real change being the transition from 2D models to fully 3D ones. This is astill a solid 60 hour turn based JRPG, but maybe what the series needs is a twist for the near future.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is an interesting and fun take on golf, but the adventure mode is lazy and could have delivered way more.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a classic and unique metroidvania with a delicate story, challenging combat and great art design.

Similarly to Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus offers a compelling universe, a smart gameplay and a fascinating art direction, but is limited by asset recycling when it comes to enemies and locations, a confusing plot and little side content. Bandai Namco is off to a good start with new IP, but needs to improve under these production areas.

It can be fun with friends, but the lack of depth makes the game feel dull and boring way sooner than it should.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is a love letter to an early Sega mascot, an unforgiving but very colourful platformer that will please old time fans of the genre.

The care placed in the phase of level design and structuring of the rooms – never superficial or anonymous – are able to make The Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood an excellently crafted reinterpretation of what we experienced in the fourth chapter of the TES saga released back in 2006, and now "resurrected" among the moors of ESO.
