Despite not having a concept that we could define as original, Riders Republic manages to capture the player in a loop made of one race after another that entertains and works. Merit of the three main disciplines that give variety to the game, of suggestive scenarios, and of a gameplay suitable for everyone that you can master right away. With little understandable naivety from the point of view of cosmetic content, and a camera that occasionally makes a fuss, Riders Republic is a sports video game that, for quality and quantity of content, certainly stands out in the current landscape.

Despite a balance far from perfect, Skul is genuinely fun and it's an interesting take on rogue-lites.

Voice of Cards mixed JRPG's and board games' elements to offer a fun pretty unique experience. It is improvable in and far from perfect, but its originality and world deserve appreciation.

A lazy remaster and just passable new controls cannot hurt the charme of an intoxicating psychological horror. This will make your Halloween that much scary.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is like a tie-in of 15 year ago with corridors, forced paths to follow and little arenas in which you must fight enemies in the same way. Marvel's fan will adore references, easter eggs and cameos, but it's not enough to make this project shine like a new star in the galaxy.

It's really unfair assign a mark to this game. It's unfair not because it's a bad game, but because it's complex and almost disrespectful to crush this work into a sterile number. A videogame that is also a "non-videogame", and it knowingly turns this flaw into strength, telling us a love story that turns into a reflection upon reality and the nature of choosing, surrounding it with a beautiful painting done with pixels.

Disciples Liberation is a solid effort from Frima and a good coming back for a long running franchise that has been absent for too long. It's a pity, then, that the game it's too easy and that dubbing and localization are sparse.

House of Ashes gives the impression of playing the same Supermassive game with a new story. The passage to next-gen systems looks irrelevant to a series that doesn't know how to evolve its formula. It has a better story than Little Hope, but presents the same issues already seen in the other two chapters.

Resident Evil 4 VR is a bet won almost entirely. Transposing the famous horror title into virtual reality might have seemed like a gamble, given the many adjustments to be made to adapt to the peripheral, but Capcom and Armature Studios have managed to put the player in the shoes of Leon Kennedy in a very believable way. The title makes great use of all the potential of the Oculus Quest and also provides various options to adapt the experience to a wide slice of players, both those looking for a more comfortable journey, and those looking for action and adrenaline.

In Sound Mind is a psychological thriller that tells a twisted story about corrupted and ill minds, but fails to be coherent and often presents bad design choices.

A good combat system and a infectious soundtrack are not enough to make The Caligula Effect 2 a recommendation. Whate we have here is much better than the first game, but not on par with the best JRPGs on the market. Still, fans of the genre may want to give it a try.
