Mea Culpa brings good content to Blasphemous 2, especially for those who want to relive the experience of a new campaign. For those who prefer to focus only on paid content, the return of the legendary Penitent's sword and the addition of new areas and challenges guarantee a few hours of fun, despite leaving the impression of being a short expansion.

60 / 100 - Blazing Strike
Oct 31, 2024

, Blazing Strike has nice graphics and simple gameplay. This gameplay may appeal to a certain audience, but it didn't appeal to me. One thing that is a consensus, however, is its game modes: they are terrible, especially for the solo player.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered features fantastic graphics, is technically flawless, and offers some quality-of-life improvements. However, the original game hasn't aged so badly to already receive a remaster and revisiting it without having certain improvements to its sequel is something strange. However, it is still a must-have title if you haven't played it yet.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure manages to hook the player in its first episodes, but the final part is disappointing. Having Max back (even if it's with different powers) is a positive point. It is a fact that the title is one of the most beautiful and polished in the series at its launch, even if some bugs and texture problems are present. Finally, despite being short, it is interesting to play it more than once.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is a good strategy game with very functional and intuitive systems, accessible for newcomers and rich for veterans, as well as an excellent use of its setting. The title lives up not only to the original game, but further elevates the entire legacy of the historic franchise to which it belongs.

85 / 100 - Potionomics
Oct 27, 2024

Potionomics: Masterwork Edition is the definitive version of a great simulator. The addition of voice acting for the excellent characters and different levels of difficulty, in addition to the great mechanics of economic management, potion creation and deck building, confirm that this is a game that cannot be left out by fans of the genre.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead offers an interesting experience within the franchise, combining elements of stealth with an engaging narrative. The setting and the need for silence create a constant tension, making players feel immersed in the terrifying universe of the movies. The gameplay mechanics that require caution and patience are well-developed, although it may seem slow to some. In addition to the lack of action, visual issues such as locked character movements can detract from the overall experience. Despite this, the story and easter eggs, especially those that reference the movies, make up for the flaws, making the game a good choice for fans of the series.

Awaken: Astral Blade has managed to grow as a satisfying game, but still with obvious limitations to its production ambitions. Thus, although it cannot stand out above the average of action metroidvanias, it also does not fall below this level and caters to those looking to explore an unknown world of sci-fi in command of an anime girl.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is a great remake of a classic that deserves a lot more attention than it has received over the years. It's the perfect blend between the series' traditional systems and has a greater emphasis on storytelling that is rarely seen in the franchise. Its modernization solves several of the problems of the original and, even with its limitations, it is a great experience for fans of the genre who want something different.

80 / 100 - Wildermyth
Oct 22, 2024

Wildermyth: Console Edition is one of the best digital representations of traditional tabletop RPGs. The way the development of the campaigns and characters works guarantees hours of gameplay and makes you feel attached to your heroes and the great stories of the Yondering Lands. It's a shame that technical problems hinder part of the experience.

ven with combat that falls short of expectations and little presence from its biggest star, Kong: Survivor Instinct manages to capture the concepts of the so-called Monsterverse well and offer a good human journey in the face of the destruction caused by these great titans, taking advantage of a universal quest narrative and typical exploration and puzzle-solving mechanics.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is basically two excellent games in one. Sonic Generations is a remaster of one of the hedgehog's best titles, while Shadow Generations is a new game that is based on the Sonic Frontiers formula to revisit the past of one of the most beloved characters by fans. Shadow's gameplay mechanics are great, the levels are fun and exploring White Space is very good. It is a round package and recommended.

70 / 100 - Speedollama
Oct 21, 2024

Speedollama delivers rhythmic fun in a way that was never thought of and without much concern in the end. It uses the nonsense proposal to generate comedy and easy action, although it lacks small adjustments even for a completely solo universe.

85 / 100 - Card-en-Ciel
Oct 21, 2024

Card-en-Ciel can be considered a great option for fans of deck-building roguelites and also JRPGs. The impressive variety of cards and the various mechanics involved mean that the game never becomes repetitive.

By finishing the Remake and immediately revisiting the classic, it became even more difficult to understand the purpose of the new version. It's hard to find a justification for recreating such a recent game. Even more so when the original version is as good as, if not better (in some aspects), than the new game. Until Dawn is good and worth playing, it's just not worth the investment of full price, when the classic edition is still competent.

In a dated way and with flaws in several aspects, Unknown 9: Awakening is a proposal delivered halfway and without much quality. There are positives to praise, such as the universe presenting and an interesting combat system, but the overall package is mediocre and below what it could be.

Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, in its PlayStation 5 version, doesn't bring anything really new to the essence of this great game, focusing instead on updating the visuals to native 4K, using ray tracing, haptic functions and fast loading. That said, it's still an amazing game, and it deserves that lame excuse to be revisited again or tried for the first time.

85 / 100 - Neva
Oct 15, 2024

Leaning on a narrative of affective contemplation, guided by the poignant emotions of music in perfect tune with each moment, and built on visual art of profound beauty as few games achieve, Neva is an essential unit, a meaningful experience that does not focus on platforming action, but employs it as a small part that makes up an indivisible artistic whole, determined and hopeful.

90 / 100 - Ys X: Nordics
Oct 14, 2024

Ys X: Nordics is an exceptional action RPG. The game returns to the origins of the series to deliver a pretty solid experience built on a more strategic gameplay system and a great narrative with excellent characters that captures the sense of adventure and exploration that make the series so fun.
