Team Ninja once again shows its quality by further improving an excellent combat system and adapting this to an open-world game. Masterfully representing Japan in one of its most troubled periods, in addition to delivering a complete package of quality, Rise of the Ronin only fails in technical aspects and in some design decisions that can compromise in the end.

Interactive adventure games don't always need surprising, original, or dense stories. As Dusk Falls is proof that a well-written and acted crime drama is enough to get us involved in a new universe. Although the gameplay is simple, the interactivity in this game is manifested through the player's decision-making power and the most diverse consequences of their choices.

Alone in the Dark may not be the most inventive game in the genre, but it's extremely competent in everything it proposes. Combat, exploration, and storytelling are excellent, with a beautiful noir setting, slipping in a few visual and rhythmic details. The original survivor horror is back, and in a big way!

Manic Mechanics is a simple, entertaining chaotic cooperative game that bets on some innovations during gameplay that highlight its competence. By avoiding excesses, it delivers family content full of entertainment, as well as an accessible solo experience.

Although inspired by important classics of the genre and with good ideas, The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered fails to deliver an experience that hooks the player enough to keep them interested in completing a journey. Let alone seven – which ends up putting it in the background in a scenario in which high-level experiences are increasingly abundant.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a good tactical RPG with plenty of depth in its combat and base management system, as well as a rich story based on Arthurian Legends. If you're a fan of the genre and King Arthur's stories, you'll get a lot of fun out of the huge amount of content in this great title.

More than a recommendation for its unique accessibility features, The Vale: Shadow of the Crown is, as a whole, a robust and very well articulated project. Aside from the lack of localization and advanced features of the new generation, it's an absolutely necessary game for each of us, psychics or not.

Outcast: A New Beginning is very far from any remnant of innovation and may disappoint those who expect something different from what the market already has in droves. But at the same time, it is honest in its simplest and most straightforward proposal, being able to entertain enthusiasts for a good open-world shootout.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection brings all the action of Star Wars battles back to consoles. With the mission of being fun, the game has interesting single player campaigns, a Galactic Conquest mode with a pinch of strategy and a multiplayer filled with new maps. A collection made for long-time fans, but which also invites new ones to live one of the most entertaining experiences of the Star Wars saga.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster is a remaster we didn't know we needed. The game preserves all the essence of the original, while bringing visual improvements and a series of extras. Its story is interesting, with the presence of some familiar characters and a gameplay that is naturally an evolution of Doom. An exquisite work by Nightdive Studios, contributing to the preservation and accessibility of a game that was a milestone at the time and making us look forward to a possible remaster of the sequel.

Slave Zero X is a beat'em up extremely focused on its combat and, consequently, the player's advantage will be directly linked to how much you like to explore combos and perfect your execution. If it doesn't fall into that dedicated group of players, it's not an easily recommended title.

Inkulinati stands out with a wacky setting and tone for a game that executes the turn-based strategy style very well, even stumbling over confusing controls and an uninspired interface.

New Star GP is an entertaining title that bets on simplicity, but still innovates with its retro aesthetic and some additional choices that offer depth and the feeling of accessibility in the control of the vehicle on challenging tracks. The game allows current players to experience the past, embracing simplicity and the spirit of overcoming as drivers.

Akka Arrh is a near-sensory psychedelic experience, offering challenging, non-stop action that appropriates precise but hard-to-master mechanics. There's a purposefully confusing look, with touches of modernity supporting an idea misunderstood decades ago.

Top Racer Collection is a great way to reminisce about the past. In addition to bringing the trilogy, the collection also adds online, extra modes, and even a modified game. However, it's an expensive bundle on PlayStation, and personally, it's a collection that basically sustains itself through the first title.

Vanillaware gets it right with Unicorn Overlord and reinvigorates a sub-genre of RPG that, for a long time, has been the target of huge scrutiny in the gaming industry. I strongly believe that it is also the best game ever created by the Japanese developer. Even though there are minor imperfections, the game is brilliant and worthy of the highest recommendation!

Cats and the Other Lives is an excellent pixel art game that stands out for its engaging narrative and a feline protagonist full of personality. The Mason's family dynamic guides players through mysteries, drama, and a past that remains the common thread of the story.
