If you haven’t played either Bayonetta or Vanquish, now’s the best time. Despite the visuals showing their age at times, both games play brilliantly on an Xbox One X. Most importantly, the action is just as thrilling now as it was back in 2010.

Two Point Hospital on the Switch is an absolute delight. The humour is spot on and will keep you smiling, while the mounting challenge of each new hospital will keep you glued to this enjoyable simulator for hours on end

While audio issues stop it from reaching its full potential, The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a dark and intriguing walk-‘em-up that will keep fans of the genre on their toes. Just be ready to weather some frustrating technical problems to get to the good bits.

Patapon 2 Remastered suffers the same affliction that its forebearer did, it’s too true to its origin, and despite being a brilliant title, fails to engender itself a new audience. The heart is still there and beats strongly, but it’s missing a few key appendages in 2020.

AO Tennis 2 is a deep and rewarding simulation that offers much for the hardcore tennis fans. An initial difficulty wall will likely put a few players off, but for those that persist, there is a rewarding and deep game of tennis to be found.

everything Genesis does, it does quite well, and over the ~15-20 hour playtime (depending on how thorough you are) you’ll find it quite hard to identify moments of weakness. For existing and prospective fans alike, there’s much to love about Darksiders Genesis.

Your mileage will depend on your tolerance for digging through layers of text, but if you can stomach that you will find a wonderfully satisfying zoo experience. Come for the cute animals and stay for the satisfaction and pride found in creating a thriving animal sanctuary.

Many expect things of Hideo Kojima, but it takes a degree of self-confidence to deliver something else instead. He left Konami because he wasn’t allowed to take the time and spend the money to make the game he wanted, so it is depressing to see Death Stranding make so many mistakes that appear on some level to be dictated by what people expect.
