It is not necessarily a bad game, although many aspects of it are not good enough. But it also has a few good sides. Its problem is that there are many better VR horror games on the market, which, even if they draw from the same genre clich's, have tried to spice things up in some way. Song in the Smoke" is an excellent example of how games can effectively evoke strong emotions with just a few words. Cinematic effects and similar elements are not necessary. All that is required is a good idea and a compelling narrative, which is precisely what this game delivers. However, the gameplay itself is the game's downfall. While not inherently terrible, it may not be as enjoyable over time. Despite this, it will undoubtedly find its fans.
