Winters' Expansion puts a definitive end to Ethan's adventure, with Shadows of Rose which I completed in about two and a half hours. I can say that I enjoyed it quite a bit and was glad to finally complete the story of Ethan and his family. However, the 20 euros that Capcom is asking for, with a campaign with such a short duration, are too much, especially if you're not interested in playing the main game again in 3rd person mode or if you're not going to bother with the updated The Mercenaries Mode.

Bayonetta 3 takes the well-known and beloved recipe we saw in the previous two chapters and takes it several steps forward.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a game with an identity crisis, something that can't be said about Innocence. The sequel tries to do something that it ultimately can't and that, at least personally, I don't want it to do. It's not a bad game and it certainly offers an interesting adventure, but unfortunately it doesn't take that step that I expected.

Gotham Knights is a game with a lot of problems, but it's still enjoyable at times, especially for fans of the superhero genre and the Batman universe. However, ultimately it doesn't manage to reach Rocksteady's excellent Arkham games.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is another good PC port from PlayStation. There are a few flaws, but overall, it represents another excellent package that deserves the attention of PC gamers, who until now have not been able to enjoy Naughty Dog's adventures.

Return to Monkey Island is the "big" dot in a "small", sweet franchise of our memories. Monkey Island has grown within us, grown with us. These aren't games that can easily captivate anyone today. A little poorer than what one expects from a finale, a little special in its aesthetics, but at least it's as crazy, as innocent and as clever as before. So I say goodbye to the most beautiful memory of my childhood with a tear and a smile. See you at sea old friend Guybrush…

EA Sports hangs its shoes keeping the ball low and in a safe pace for FIFA 23. Despite all its faults, new and old, it's still the best way to play a football sim alone or with your friends.

NBA 2K23, especially with the Jordan Challenges, the addition of earlier eras and the noticeable improvements to the gameplay, looks more "crowded", more fun but also more greedy than ever.

Soulstice copies a lot of formulas from past celebrated hack'n'slash games but fails to execute them accordingly. It can get repetitive and boring, and also is plagued by many technical issues. Talk about a lost chance...

Nevertheless, the Splatoon 3 is more like the first. An enriched, refined version of the previous ones, a refinement of the ideas introduced from the series to the second chapter and not an attempt to overturn or -even small- Redefinition. So on the one hand, we are talking about the best -with ease- Splatoon to date, on the other hand, if you have tried the series and it has not convinced you, there is nothing here that will make you change your mind.

If you've never played The Last of Us, then this is a fantastic opportunity to experience a gorgeous and faithful remake of one of the most important games of the 21st century. I'm not just recommending it; I'm urging you to get it. On the other hand, if you've already played it, it's harder for me to help you with your choice.

Technical problems take the experience two steps back, since I met several bugs and after the day one patch. the development team would have to work on the title for at least a year more and maybe we would be talking about one of the best chapters in the franchise.

Live a Live is a remake that we needed and the game itself needed to have.

Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is an excellent expansion, which gives you plenty of nostalgic fun, further enriching an already rich package. It's a real adrenaline-pumping and jaw-dropping graphic extravaganza, as its theme helps Turn10 and Playground's impressive graphics engine to show off its capabilities even more. There are a few flaws, such as the only 10 new vehicles, but overall, we're talking about an expansion that will be loved - expectedly - by Hot Wheels fanatics and fans of arcade racing games in general.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a journey of epic proportions and scale that reminded me of these experiences that are great and epic in terms of ambitions. Sometimes it can be melodramatic and talkative in an old fashioned way but that sense of grandeur is all that matters. With a rich narrative in terms of ideas, concepts and twists along the way, you'll find that the heart of it is in its characters. If you're a JRPG fan this is the game that you must play.

Bright Memory Infinite offers a highly entertaining campaign full of impressive sequences, which personally reminded me of the older Call of Duty titles, with all that this entails. There are some weaknesses, such as the very short two-hour lenght, the clichéd script and some ideas that aren't developed as much as they should be, such as the stealth mechanics. With all that said, if you like shooting galleries and you are looking for something flashy and 'light', it's worth a look.

Stray doesn't try to impress anyone, it's not full of fanfare, neither gameplay, nor design, and ultimately delivers a genuinely silent adventure with a Playdead-esque approach. It is a spare, thoughtful, smart and modern video game that questions, worries and sounds the alarm in a quiet and down-to-earth way. The title of the small French studio is not just a game starring a cat. It's something so much more that this year it's going to feature on many best games of 2022 lists…

F1 22 is overall a particularly good racing game, offering a very satisfying on-track experience, with realistic handling and beautiful graphics, capturing in an entertaining way the extremely complex nature of the sport. There are problems, like the excessive monetization, but for better or for worse, Codemasters' proposal is a "one-way street" for fans.

While it left me satisfied as far as gameplay goes, Mario Strikers Battle League misses its goal when it comes to the single player and online aspects of it. Matches can be fun and intense and the gameplay can give a surprising depth to it, but unfortunately gets tarnished in terms of its production and content. If Nintendo chooses to support it through content updates then it has all the potential to show its worth.
