Among so many strong competitors, XDefiant emerges as a new free FPS option. Making clever use of famous brands, the game offers fun and competitive gunfights across interesting factions and maps. The gameplay is solid and the production is competent, especially for a recently released title. I hope the game fixes its problems in future updates and makes good use of its great future potential.

C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield is a product that tries to sell itself as a well-done and polished package but it's extremely shallow and empty as far as content goes. It tries to draw inspiration from a genre with ever more representatives in the market but fails to bring a satisfying, compelling experience. In sum, it's difficult to recommend this title unless at least the combat difficulty is properly rebalanced. Extremely strong enemies right at the start of the campaign force us not to look for new strategies to win but to give up on the game in its entirety.

Using a recognizable theme, Manic Mechanics turns the work at a car repair shop into a fun experience. With simple mechanics, the title manages to offer balanced challenges in which players must fix engines, paint airfoils, and make electronic chips, all of it to repair vehicles and get the highest score. Even if it has a few issues, especially when it comes to online matches, it's still a good option for your library."

Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- is a game that, despite its limitations, can entertain. The less punitive approach and the characters' charisma make Reimu Hakurei's adventure a pleasant and accessible journey, especially for those who love the genre. However, the lack of variety in some aspects may frustrate players looking for a solid and challenging experience.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami is a criminal investigation adventure that understands very well that less can be more. With a short duration, a compelling mystery filled with twists and a high dose of humor, only those who hate fun will not enjoy it.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a fair horror game with a few moments of delightful anguish in its finale. Though it doesn't stand out in any specific area and its [Brazilian Portuguese] translation leaves a lot to be desired, it offers an experience that should please the fans of the genre.

Hauntii is an indie title that goes beyond a simple twin-stick shooter, offering a rich experience of exploration and puzzle solving in an immersive world. The little ghost's unique ability to possess objects and creatures brings creativity to challenges, instilling curiosity in uncovering all the secrets. The minimalist visuals and soothing soundtrack complement the game's meditative atmosphere, making the journey both a visual and an emotional adventure. However, the experience is marked by a rhythm that can be frustrating due to the slow movement and difficulty in navigating between areas. Despite these points, Hauntii captivates with its melancholic narrative and charismatic characters in a journey that balances challenge and contemplation, offering a unique and beautiful experience.

RKGK / Rakugaki is a 3D platformer that stands out for its vibrant visuals and immersive gameplay. With a charismatic protagonist and a world full of colors and life, the game offers a fun and challenging experience, especially for those who enjoy completing all objectives and achievements. It is recommended for those who like challenges and a visually rich experience. If you enjoy fun gameplay and don't mind a half-assed story, this game will be a worthy addition to your collection.

PuzzMiX is an interesting variation of the Suika genre, bringing a new perspective [to it] with Lola's pods and an enticing soundtrack. Though it presents some limitations and frustrations due to the pieces' physics and the lack of variation in the scenery, it still manages to offer a casual and fun experience. It may be especially attractive for fans of the Gunvolt franchise and J-Pop lovers but it may not have the same universal appeal of the traditional fruit combo games. However, for those looking for a new approach to the Suika genre, PuzzMiX is a game worth experiencing.

Even taking into account the areas that should have been more polished in the game, there's no denying that Little Kitty, Big City is a pleasant surprise in the world of 3D adventures, delivering fun in a lighthearted experience, and manages to give off a feeling of adventure and fun that real life cats must feel in their trips around town.

Just like the cartoon gargoyles were forgotten after being cursed to a thousand years of sleep, so should the game based on its IP.

For fans of stories revolving around occult, urban legends and supernatural experiences, Other Side Of Mist And Mountain offers approximately 10 hours of immersive gameplay without appealing to cheap jumpscares and mixing visual novel, exploration, stealth and puzzles. With an excellent audiovisual presentation, especially the soundtrack, we have a title that definitely deserves to shine. However, various bugs and text issues weigh against the experience, making it necessary to have patience to understand what's being told in the story at certain points and to solve the puzzles along the way.

Crow Country gets it right by incorporating the customs of old survival horror titles in a new guise, both attracting those nostalgic for classic horror and becoming accessible to those looking for another “ugly horror” to enjoy. Despite the ease of combat, the puzzles are creative and the environment, with the use of pre-rendered aesthetics, highlights it as a great option in the genre.

Though a rerelease can be a good opportunity for old games to come back, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The princess from another world isn't one of the best examples. It may even have some positive points, like the visuals and emulation resources, but the original game is so limited that the novelties aren't enough. I recommend it to the fans of the franchise and/or platformers, as well as trophy hunters.

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver is an adventure game with a fascinating world. With good characters and a phenomenal work on its audiovisual aspects, it's a comfortable experience. Unfortunately, when it comes to the plot and main systems, the general feeling is that the game should have dived deeper to actually have the chance to stay on the collective memories as a big classic of its genre.

Despite the presence of various charismatic characters and the series' usual humor, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution doesn't stand out as a memorable action RPG due to a monotonous and extremely unbalanced combat system. For the hardcore fans of the franchise, there are many familiar aspects that may offer some fun; however, for those looking for a solid experience in the genre, there are many options easier to recommend.

Finally having Rainbow Cotton with us gives us a panorama (unintended pun) of the candy-hungry witch's virtual evolution. However, even though the game by itself is fine, it deserved more than a graphic upgrade, gameplay refinements and extra resources to make it totally modern instead of a mere revamped port.
