Madden NFL 22 disappoints on several levels whether it is for its gameplay which offers virtually no change since last year or even in its visual aspect which is not worthy of the new generation. Not to mention that the Face of the Franchise mode offers no real interest in low impact dialogue and poor quality cutscenes. If you already have last year's edition, this edition is clearly not necessary!

Humankind may not be perfect and several improvements could be made, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the genre while arguably one of the most accessible strategy games out there.

Tormented Souls isn't for everyone. The static cameras and the difficulty of the puzzles may repel some players and attract others. Being a fan of the genre, I can only appreciate the quality offered by this one. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic survival horror. You will not be disappointed.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a little breath of fresh air with some new features in terms of gameplay, but also with the addition of doubled cinematics. It is not, however, perfect with the absence of a French subtitle and with several lines of superfluous dialogue.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD offers some much needed enhancements that result in a better game. Whether it's your first or second time exploring Skyloft, you will definitely find some charm in revisiting the story where everything started.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a unique and troubling experience. Not everyone should play it as the themes are profoundly serious and mature and the psychological horror part doubles down on that. However, it tells a very compelling story surrounded by an immersive atmosphere. Be ready to come out highly impacted by its ending.

LEGO Builder's Journey is pretty much a straight port of the iOS game. It replicates the feeling of building LEGOs in a very impressive way and this is exactly what we were expecting. However, we wish the game had some bonus content now that it is on a more complex platform like the PC.

Ninja Gaiden : Master Collection doesn't offer anything exceptionnal. You get three good games that received visual enhancements and faster loading times. Despite the fact that all the DLC content is also included, it would've been more interesting to add a couple of new elements for the fans. Nevertheless, it's a pretty sweet deal for the price if you're looking for a good challenge.

Mario Golf: Super Rush introduces fun new ways to play golf including Speed Golf and Battle Mode. Camelot really has reached his peak in terms of technique and quality of gameplay. It's particularly fun to play with the Joy-Con motions which has been improved over Wii Sports. It's just too bad the solo adventure doesn't pack much of a punch and that there's no tournament mode this time. I hope Camelot will spend a bit more time putting the finishing touches the next time around.

Wonder Boy : Asha in the Monster World was an excellent game back in 1994. Unfortunately, today's remake isn't spicy enough. The game is a classic, but it fails to stand out in today's world especially considering the heavy competition on the market. It's mainly good for the nostalgia if your heart really wants to give it a go.

Song of Horror is a good game for those who like to complete puzzles in a scary atmosphere. The story is remarkably interesting and the possibility of losing permanently some of our characters is rather troubling. Furthermore, the fact that you have random encounters with « The Presence » makes each run fun. The controls and the camera will not please everyone, but it might bring some good souvenirs to others.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart mixes heart and humour in a very action driven adventure beautifully modernized for the new generation. The gameplay will completely engage you with a collection of very diversified weapons and well executed plateforming elements. If you were waiting for a system seller, this is the one. It uses the DualSense fully with haptic feedback and the adaptative triggers as well as the 3D Audio which put together truly give the feeling of a next-gen experience. It will definitely be amongs your favorite games of the year.

Kaze and the Wild Masks first seems like just another platformer. But then as you keep playing, you find so much joy and a lot of ressemblances with the best in the genre. We wouldn't go as far as saying it's a simple copy, but rather a nice nod to what made these games so great. And once you are finished, you will remember it as a positive souvenir with a big smile on your face. Isn't that what you should expect from a video game ? Mission accomplished for PixelHive !

SaGa Frontier Remastered brings us back to the essence of RPGs. Unfortunately, the game's lack of clear directions for quests will likely scare newcomers. However, if you have time and patience and you are already fan of the genre, this is definitely for you.

Relive some of the most iconic and important moments of the history of video games with this new Capcom compilation. Unless you really don't like retro games, you should have a lot of fun with this title. It's the most fun I've had diving bad into old games since Rare Replay

Mass Effect : Legendary Edition is without a doubt the best way for a new generation of players to discover the series while EA prepares the next chapter. It's also a great way to please long time fans in a very short term. However, a couple of defaults came back and a few new ones appeared along the way.

Subnautica: Below Zero proposes an experience very similar to the first game. It doesn't bring a lot of new elements which will probably dissapoint a few players. However, the fun factor is still very present.

Solasta is a fantastic D&D experience and I recommend all fans of the 5th edition to give it a shot. Though it may not impress visually, the gameplay will captivate fans especially since the developers enhanced it in a very imaginative way. If you're looking for a bit more D&D in your life, this is the way.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends dissapoints for a few reasons including the fact that players are not encouraged to take a stealth approach. Futhermore, the technical problems and the fact that you can't launch a game with a partner controled by the AI really hurts the experience. Let's hope that the additional content will be a bit more diversified.
