AI Limit is a well-crafted new soulslike title that, while it suffers from a lack of variety in certain areas and occasional technical glitches, makes up for it with a unique synchronization system and the powerful atmosphere of its post-apocalyptic world. The game forces players to think tactically and adapt to constantly changing combat conditions, making it a challenge for those seeking a bit of adrenaline. If the developers iron out a few minor kinks, it will be a solid choice for fans of this unforgiving genre.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is a carbon copy of the previous installment. It offers solid stealth action with an emphasis on realistic shooting and tactics. The story is interesting, even if it doesn’t bring any significant innovations, while the gameplay is fun, varied, and encourages you to play through individual missions over and over again. However, the game is clearly dominated by multiplayer, where it truly shines, because facing off against a real hunter out to claim his prey is what appeals to just about everyone. Plus, you never know who’s who. Unfortunately, while this attempt wasn’t a complete success, it’s still a better game.

Commandos 3 - HD Remaster seemed to promise a nostalgic return and a revival of the legendary title, which combines the RTS and stealth genres with tactical elements, along with great atmosphere and gameplay, all wrapped up in a fresh new look. Unfortunately, due to technical shortcomings, a terrible camera, and, last but not least, Epic Games’ secret saving of files to the device, I cannot recommend this title.

Turbo Overkill is a game for anyone who loves facing near-death situations in games and isn’t afraid to dive right in headfirst. It only takes a few hits to die, so you need to keep moving constantly as you battle hundreds of enemies. Get into the retro spirit, reminisce about gaming experiences from the turn of the millennium, and enjoy the solid action that Turbo Overkill has to offer. The intricate design, long playtime, and cyberpunk setting will remind you of the days of Deus Ex, The Matrix, or Ghost in the Shell. While Turbo Overkill isn’t primarily designed for consoles, if you can handle controlling Johnny Turbo with a gamepad, you can handle any other game.

Pharaoh: A New Era is a faithful remake of the classic 1999 city-building strategy game that brings nostalgia to life while also appealing to new players. Unfortunately, the game does not include the Cleopatra expansion or a minimap, but it does feature attractive graphics and the entertaining gameplay familiar from the original game.

So should I buy it? You bet I should! It doesn’t matter at all if you’re a pimply teenager or, like me, a gamer who’s a bit of a dad. Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is simply a great game, with a great story, a great atmosphere, and on top of that, it’s really beautiful to look at. I dove right in after watching *Unbeatable Superman*, and at times I felt like I was literally playing a movie. All in all, this is the ultimate version of a great game, and it would be a huge shame to miss out on it.

Star Trucker is a solid game for fans of space simulators who enjoy a combination of logistics, trade, and “leisurely” space exploration. The game’s main drawbacks are certain logical paradoxes stemming from its setting and an AI that lacks any sense of self-preservation. If you enjoy space simulators and don’t mind facing repetitive challenges, Star Trucker will definitely offer you a worthwhile experience.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is another crazy—yet wonderfully executed—spin-off in the series. Majima shines as the main character, and his pirate adventure in Hawaii delivers a mix of action, humor, and, above all, absurdity. The naval battles are surprisingly fun, but they could have been given even more screen time. The game is built on the solid foundations of the series’ universe and offers plenty of side activities. If you like Like a Dragon, you’re in for a royal treat!

Reus 2 is a very interesting sequel to the original strategy game, which carves its own path. It doesn’t try to compete with big city-building games or realistic civilization simulators. Instead, it offers a unique view of the world’s development from the perspective of divine creators. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, enjoy pondering things more deeply, and are looking for a well-thought-out game with high replay value, then Reus 2 is the clear choice for you.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows does the series proud and, in fact, ranks among its more successful and appealing installments. If you’ve been looking forward to it for its fun and accessible gameplay, beautiful graphics, and charming Japanese setting, you won’t be disappointed. Naoe and Yasuke are, after all, heroes who are easy to root for. At the same time, in keeping with the spirit of the entire series, they remain outsiders somewhere in the mysterious background of the grand narrative. Thus, fears that the creators might, for example, attempt to inappropriately exaggerate Yasuke’s historical role have not materialized. Of course, if you can’t get past the fact that the word “samurai” is mentioned a few times in connection with him, or that a Black warrior is one of the driving forces behind a story that is quite openly fictional, then this simply isn’t the game for you. Nor is it for those who didn’t like the previous installments. Simply put, don’t expect Assassin’s Creed Shadows to be the video game equivalent of an Akira Kurosawa film. It’s much more like a predictable—albeit entertaining—action flick by Kinji Fukasaku.

Eternal Strands is a fantastic action roguelite with a unique weather system, a deep story, and a challenging combat system. The game’s ambitious and unique combination of mechanics offers a completely new gaming and combat experience. That said, some aspects still need fine-tuning, such as performance optimization and difficulty balancing. If the developers can realize the game’s great potential, Eternal Strands could become one of the best games in its genre. It’s definitely a game worth giving a chance.

Monster Hunter Wilds is undoubtedly one of the most ambitious titles in the series and features the most expansive open world we’ve seen in the series to date. Thanks to its dynamic ecosystem, revamped combat, and smoother movement, it’s a title that pushes the boundaries of the hunting RPG genre. With its superb audiovisual presentation, sophisticated ecosystem, and a new level of interaction between the player and the world, the game is not only a worthy continuation of the series but also a great entry point for new players looking to dive into the world of Monster Hunter. However, for veterans, it’s just a bit too easy, and those nifty bonuses—like the well-thought-out crafting system or the desire for a better suit—sometimes just aren’t enough.

Sunset Hills is an impressive point-and-click adventure game featuring warm, fairy-tale-like graphics, a captivating story set in a fictional postwar world, and puzzles that range from tricky to intuitive. The game has its flaws, but its strong atmosphere, interesting story, and original mechanics easily make up for them. Edge of Sanity will be especially appreciated by fans of survival horror and the works of H.P. Lovecraft. If you’re looking for a game that won’t let you rest easy and will leave a lasting impression on your mind, then this title is the right choice for you. Prepare for a journey into the depths of madness, from which you may never return.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is a triumph in the turn-based strategy series and takes the franchise to a new level. Thanks to improved diplomacy, deeper gameplay, and technical innovations, it is one of the best entries in the franchise’s history. Although some changes may come as a surprise to longtime fans, most of them contribute to a better gaming experience—such as the reduction in the number of workers, which I have to acknowledge as a positive. However, natural disasters and the hardships following the Information Age are, for me, obstacles I cannot overlook. A major advantage, though, is that there’s no difference here between a newcomer and a series veteran. This game is accessible to absolutely everyone, and thanks to its enormous variety, every fan will enjoy it. I can guarantee that.

Skydance’s Behemoth is far too linear and formulaic for me to recommend it without reservations. Despite all its flaws, however, it is currently one of the most visually appealing and best-produced virtual reality titles. The reviewed PS VR2 version, meanwhile, is free of the technical issues that drew criticism in the PC version. It would be a shame to miss out on this visually stunning action-adventure game.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is poised to deliver an intriguing story full of nostalgia and suspense, but so far it only gets halfway there. It offers a powerful atmosphere, well-written characters, and a mystery that begs to be unraveled, but we still don’t know exactly where it’s all headed. Still, there’s something about it that makes you reflect on the past, on the decisions you’ve made, and on those that lie ahead. Perhaps the second part will show that those choices really do matter. Perhaps we’ll discover that some things are better left buried in time. And perhaps… there will be no turning back.

Warriors: Abyss is a fast-paced and energetic game that doesn’t give you anything for free. The playtime is around four hours, but since we’re talking about the roguelike genre, you can enjoy it for much longer. However, the game’s visual style is a bit too over-the-top in terms of color, which ultimately detracts from the experience. But if you’re a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series and roguelikes, Warriors: Abyss won’t disappoint you!

The Sinking City is an ambitious and atmospheric game that seeks to bring H. P. Lovecraft’s mythology to life in an interactive format.
