To my surprise, the new Call of Duty, subtitled Black Ops 6, has managed to take a huge step forward from its predecessor and improve, in many ways, precisely those aspects that the developers have literally neglected in recent years. The biggest change is definitely the single-player campaign, which has grown not only in length but also in the quality of its content. While it still doesn’t offer any revolutionary or intricate mechanics, it’s clear that the developers really put in the effort this time, and the campaign isn’t a bad experience at all. However, for a price tag of 70 euros, it’s still relatively lacking, and the multiplayer remains the main draw—it’s still one of the series’ strongest points. Nevertheless, I can recommend Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to those who have already given up on this franchise and had no hope for a positive turnaround. It might not be a bad idea to return to the world of Call of Duty after some time and give the series another chance. I think that, combined with a small discount—say, a price of 50 euros—it would be worth considering. Six and a half out of ten.

Killing Time: Resurrected is another outstanding remaster from Nightdive Studios, and it’s also one of their most valuable and important ones. Not only have the developers done a great job with numerous graphical and technical improvements, but above all, they’ve helped refocus attention on a remarkable and very well-made game that had been unjustly overlooked until now and for which there weren’t many options for playing it comfortably.

The Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake is a true tribute to the classic, featuring modern graphics and gameplay elements. It’s a must-play for fans of the genre, and for those new to it, it’s a great way to take a trip back in time. The only things holding back a higher rating are the occasionally tedious grinding and the repetitive soundtrack. However, if you’re a fan of the series or the genre, add an extra point. I really enjoyed the game and can’t wait for the remastered versions of the first and second installments to come out!

If you like roguelikes, tactical turn-based combat, and RPGs, you should definitely give this a try. Just don’t let it completely consume you—unless you have another life to spare. Darkest Dungeon II requires a lot of time and patience. It rewards you with beautiful graphics, a captivating dark medieval atmosphere, and the depth of its gameplay mechanics. Some aspects could be a bit more player-friendly, such as the drawn-out beginning and the constant clicking on the same things at the start, but that’s something you can live with. Death isn’t the end here. It’s part of progressing through the game.

Sofie: The Echoes isn’t without its glimmers of hope. The story concept and atmospheric level design suggest that this title has some potential, though unfortunately, it remains untapped. However, crippling technical issues and questionable design choices seriously undermine any chance this title has of appealing to players at all. In short, I cannot recommend purchasing Sofie: The Echoes at full price (the original forty euros), nor even at a discounted rate. The countless bugs, frustrating mechanics, and bizarre death animations leave little room for you to enjoy this game at all. It seems as though the game was developed in a rush or without proper oversight. Ultimately, without significant improvements and a clearer vision, *Sofia: The Echoes* will be yet another example of a missed opportunity.

1428: Shadows over Silesia - Tourney at the Bear Rock is a well-crafted DLC that perfectly complements the main game and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the events that shaped its story. All of the main game’s favorite mechanics have been elegantly carried over and woven into a story lasting roughly four hours, in which you can follow the early days of one of the original game’s protagonists.

Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded is, unfortunately, an unmitigated disappointment. The entertaining level design and well-executed mechanics carried over from the 2D original clash head-on with the exceptionally poor technical execution. The controls won’t make you feel like a professional assassin, but rather like one of the characters from *Pat and Mat*. And the graphics will likely make you feel sick after playing for a while. All we can do is hope that the developers will fix the game at some point in the future. Or at least that support for the PlayStation VR2 version—which IO Interactive is working on directly—will be successful.

Sengoku Dynasty is another title in the series from Toplitz Production that stands out for its entertaining and detailed depiction of construction and hunting, and addresses some of the issues from the early access period, such as the ability to fast-travel. Unfortunately, there are also some minor flaws, including poor optimization and visuals that won’t exactly offend you, but won’t blow you away either. All in all, however, I can recommend this title to anyone who loved its predecessor, Medieval Dynasty, to which Sengoku Dynasty bears a resemblance in many ways. Seven out of ten.

Crime Boss: Rockay City offers a high-quality experience with cooperative elements that will delight fans of Payday-style heist games. The game lets you play as a gangster in a richly detailed world full of action and strategic territory conquest, which is particularly appealing to multiplayer fans. Although the single-player content is somewhat limited, the variety of game modes and missions provides plenty of entertainment. Higher-quality character models and better use of the star-studded cast would enhance the overall experience, but it’s still a solid title that will delight fans of crime-themed action games.

Undisputed aimed to become the best boxing game in over a decade. The game features more than seventy licensed boxing celebrities, an entertaining career mode, and matches that are spiced up by various boxing styles. Unfortunately, the game is severely hampered by technical issues and various bugs. As it stands, I can’t recommend it (even though, as a boxing fan, I’d really like to), and instead I’d wait for possible future updates.

Unknown 9: Awakening feels like a missed opportunity. Although the game features an interesting story world and aims to bridge different media formats, it falls short at the most basic level. Instead of a compelling adventure, it offers a predictable story with flat characters, unattractive graphics, and frustrating gameplay mechanics. On top of that, bugs and technical issues make it hard to immerse yourself in a world that’s already somewhat hollow—one that tries to build an expansive mythology but throws too much at you all at once. This one didn’t turn out very well.

Will you survive the night, or will you succumb to the curse? The answer lies hidden deep within the shadows. So don’t be afraid to uncover the truth in this spooky yet entertaining game, which I can definitely recommend.
