Although some of you are probably still thinking that the price is too high and the game isn’t for you, I’ll tell you this: give the demo a try. The reality is that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an incredibly original gem that’s worth every second of playtime. If you’re looking for something fresh in the gaming world, here it is. Some of the monsters might make you feel a little queasy, but that’s just part of the risk for a demon slayer and his priestess.

Second Front is a very well-made war game that offers a wide range of just about everything you could expect from a turn-based war strategy game. For anyone who wants to become a pro at it, I recommend reading the manuals first, because without them, you’ll have a hard time making progress. On the one hand, I appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the game, but on the other, I lament its unnecessary complexity, as this prevents it from reaching a wider audience of players. Nevertheless, it’s a great experience with only minor flaws. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to head to Caen!

My Time at Sandrock tugged at my heartstrings with its nostalgia for all life simulators. Although it’s strikingly reminiscent of the Story of Seasons series, it’s something a little different. Life in the desert is harsh and demanding, especially in a post-apocalyptic world. Here, though, it’s actually pretty laid-back, with endless possibilities. If you’re a fan of simulation games, endless crafting, chatty neighbors, and want to try out a mock wedding, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Plus, who hasn’t tried doing something with sandstone?

I didn’t play the original version that came out years ago. That might have actually saved my experience with Fallout 76. It’s not a game that will blow you away. It’s a slightly above-average time-killer that’s entertaining, doesn’t bore you, and, most importantly, works as it should. You can breeze through the main story pretty quickly; the side quests—though repetitive—let you kill a ton of time; exploring the entire map also takes a while; and the survival aspect is fully realized here. I’m satisfied, but I know that aside from the initial purchase price, I wouldn’t spend a single extra crown on this game, and I recommend the same to all of you.

Lunacid is a must-play for anyone who longs to return to the golden age of dungeon crawlers. Its challenging gameplay, immersive environment, and eerie soundtrack are sure to captivate many fans of the genre. As mentioned earlier, while the steep learning curve may be off-putting to some, the rewards are definitely worth the effort. Madshot is a 2D action platformer with rogue-like elements that draws you into a dark world inspired by the Lovecraftian universe. Although it suffers from somewhat repetitive enemies and a simpler story, it offers thrilling combat accompanied by energetic metal and rock music. Fans of titles like Hades, Cult of the Lamb, or Dead Cells are sure to love Madshot. Compatibility with the Steam Deck is a nice bonus that lets you enjoy the game on the go.

Myth of Empires is an enjoyable third-person MMORPG with survival elements that takes you back to the era of ancient feudal China. You can choose whether to play on PvP or PvE servers, or even solo. It’s a solid title from the East that features a vast world where there’s always something to do. However, you’ll need to set aside plenty of time for the game, because even with a group of friends, everything takes an incredibly long time here.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty features an engaging story set in a historical setting and an entertaining combat system. Dynamic battles and the ability to choose your playstyle create a solid foundation for an action RPG. However, technical issues—particularly in the expansions—and its high price compared to the competition prevent it from reaching the same heights.

If you’re a fan of boomer shooters and already own Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, there’s practically no logically defensible reason why you shouldn’t also pick up the Forges of Corruption DLC. It expands this excellent game even further and, on top of that, introduces two of the most destructive and spectacular weapons in gaming history. To ignore such an offer would be heresy.

Mullet MadJack is proof that this as-yet-unnamed subgenre—which emerged from the somewhat niche Post Void—has now reached a stage where it can appeal to a broad gaming audience. Shooting robot billionaires at a frantic pace is incredibly fun and almost addictive. Moreover, the Brazilian developers have managed to come up with a distinctive art style that draws on the often-exploited Japanese and ’80s cultures, yet avoids the common fetishizing stereotypes.

Drug Dealer Simulator 2 is a very well-made simulation game where you build a drug empire in a region reminiscent of a Caribbean paradise. Everyone can enjoy the game either alone or with friends. A perfect game from Byterunners.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine remains one of the best action games that fans of the famous gothic-space franchise can play. It clearly draws inspiration from contemporary trends, but at the same time successfully finds a way to set itself apart from other games and establish its own identity. Sure, you could criticize it for being a bit too monotonous, linear, and brown, but these are all minor flaws that are easily lost in the heat of battle.

The Solus Project is an enjoyable exploration-based walking simulator that aims to compellingly blend story and survival elements. Unfortunately, it falls short in this regard and doesn’t offer what other similar titles in its category do. The story and its narrative do offer some interesting moments, even though they’re scattered throughout what is mostly a monotonous journey from point A to point B. This is clearly a case of wasted potential, and it is definitely not a full-fledged survival horror game.

ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree is an absolutely fantastic expansion to the already phenomenal ELDEN RING. The DLC fits perfectly into the ELDEN RING universe and brilliantly expands the lore. It also introduces breathtaking new locations, epic battles against new bosses, and a wide variety of new weapons and gear. In terms of content, ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree clearly surpasses some full-fledged games and is an absolute must-have for every ELDEN RING player.

Kerbal Space Program 2 was supposed to be a worthy successor to the first game, a fantastic space sandbox simulator. However, the title was marred by numerous early development errors that continue to cause problems to this day. Kerbal Space Program 2 definitely has a lot to offer, but because many known bugs remain unresolved even a year after its release into Early Access, and according to the latest information, the future of the development studio (and the development process) is still uncertain, I cannot recommend the game at this stage. I would rather opt for Kerbal Space Program 1 or wait until the full version of the game is released.
