8 / 10.0 - Project Warlock
Mar 16, 2024

Project Warlock is a great game that captures the atmosphere of the old Wolfenstein games. I absolutely love how fast-paced, varied, and gory it is—even Carnage would have a blast playing it. The incredibly smooth gameplay is just a bonus. Unfortunately, it lacks a better—or rather, more developed—story, and the difficulty could definitely be a bit more balanced. Other than that, it’s hard to find fault with it, because I haven’t experienced this much entertaining suffering in such a small game in a long time.

8 / 10.0 - Escape Simulator
Mar 10, 2024

Escape Simulator is a huge surprise—what started as an unassuming game has turned into several hours of great fun, whether you’re playing solo or with others. The nearly limitless scope for using your imagination is admirable, and the official levels have their own unique charm. Unfortunately, physics can sometimes play tricks on you, the whole game occasionally crashes, and—most of all—that annoying soundtrack just won’t stop playing. If you’re a fan of escape games, this one’s right up your alley—and I’d say it’ll keep you entertained for a very, very long time.

8 / 10.0 - The Thaumaturge
Mar 9, 2024

The Thaumaturge is an intriguing story-driven RPG with an isometric perspective and turn-based combat, set in an alternate history of 1905 and taking place in Warsaw. Great emphasis is placed on the story and conversations, and dialogue choices can influence the overall direction of the plot. Acquiring new salutors, completing side quests, and exploring Warsaw are enjoyable and entertaining. However, the combat system is minimalist, and the combat style doesn’t vary much. The lack of equipment upgrades and the emphasis on dialogue may not be to everyone’s taste. Nevertheless, it’s definitely an interesting title with a unique setting that will entertain all fans of story-driven RPGs.

10 / 10.0 - Sally Face
Mar 6, 2024

Sally Face is an absolutely fantastic game. If you like horror games, puzzles, and a great story, you definitely shouldn’t miss this title. The game has a very interesting and engaging story, plus well-written characters. Who wouldn’t love Sally Fisher or Larry, especially since they have such good taste in music? For cat lovers, there’s a real gem: Gizmo, a little cat who loves watching TV and collecting stickers.

8.5 / 10.0 - Immortal Life
Mar 5, 2024

To me, Immortal Life is a charming game that combines the best elements of other farming games and simulators into one. The use of magic is like in Sunhaven, building and crafting are similar to My Time at Portia, farming is reminiscent of Story of Seasons, and combat is like in My Time at Sandrock. Plus, the game brings a breath of fresh air to this genre. On top of that, you’ll enjoy the pleasant visuals of a Chinese fantasy landscape with cute characters and traditional Chinese music that accompanies you every step of the way. It’s definitely a very addictive simulator that will have you spending hours without even realizing it.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is an enchanting adventure game that offers both relaxing moments as you solve logic puzzles and thrilling sections where you engage in battles with enemies (though sometimes the terms “relaxing” and “thrilling” can be reversed). The developers have created a magical world with stunning graphics that leave a spellbinding impression. Thanks to the personalized levels, you won’t get bogged down in monotony, so the game never feels repetitive. In this case, the developers didn’t quite nail the combat system design, but that’s easily forgivable.

Kapital: Sparks of Revolution is a visually impressive city-building strategy game set in the post-World War I era. The game offers a collection of interesting ideas with an emphasis on decision-making and managing limited resources. However, it is let down by the failure to fully develop some of its great ideas and the absence of important elements and metrics that are essential for managing the economy. Furthermore, some of the mechanics do not function quite correctly.

8 / 10.0 - Ghostrunner 2
Mar 1, 2024

Ghostrunner 2 is undoubtedly a worthy sequel to the first game. It features several new ideas, and the developers have made a noticeable effort to improve some of the mechanics carried over from the original. Most of the changes are for the better, but there are also elements that don’t quite fit the game’s concept. You can look forward to great dynamic gameplay, fantastic parkour, and challenging combat where you have to carefully choose the most effective path to your goal. Add to that the impressive graphics and a fantastic soundtrack, and you’re in for a treat.

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes is a fantastic fighting game with stunning graphics, deep and entertaining gameplay, and professional voice acting. Despite the absence of a campaign, it offers rich content and a variety of game modes that will keep players glued to the screen for a long time. The comprehensive GRD system adds a strategic element to battles, making them more dynamic. If you don’t mind the lack of a narrative and prioritize the gameplay experience, this game could be a great choice for you.

After nine years, Rocksteady has returned with a brand-new title that, while having nothing to do with the original Batman trilogy, attempts to build on the popular Arkham universe. Unfortunately, *Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League* turned out to be a rather uninteresting and unentertaining game that suffers most of all from a lack of quality content and is essentially just a rehash of the same old stuff. We’ll see if future updates improve the quality. Personally, though, I’m very concerned that Rocksteady’s new game is doomed to an early demise due to players’ dwindling interest. Perhaps if the developers had created a new Batman game, they would have fared much better. Five out of ten.

6 / 10.0 - HunterX
Feb 25, 2024

HunterX offers an entertaining combat system and an atmospheric world, but suffers from a weak story and a lack of challenges on the map. The graphics are average, though not disappointing. The game attempts to incorporate Metroidvania elements but fails to reach the genre’s full potential. While it may be fun for fans of dynamic combat, it falls short of providing a deep and engaging experience compared to other titles of this type.

8.5 / 10.0 - Blood West
Feb 24, 2024

If I had to sum up Blood West, it’s an incredibly fun—albeit challenging—game. If you don’t give up right after the first mission, I promise you’ll have a blast. In addition to a fairly interesting story and creepy enemies, the game manages to create a genuinely terrifying atmosphere despite its pixelated retro look. I’ll also give it bonus points for the catchy music. That’s why I have no choice but to wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

Unfortunately, Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash falls short of expectations in terms of quality and is a disappointment, particularly when it comes to gameplay, visuals, and story. Although the game features iconic characters, it fails to provide an entertaining and engaging experience for either fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen universe or fighting game enthusiasts. While the game had the potential to be a hit, it falls short of the quality standards set by similar titles in this genre.

8.5 / 10.0 - Nocturnal
Feb 19, 2024

Nocturnal is divine. The playtime is just under five hours if you go straight through the game. I saw a player online who, with his enthusiasm, breezed through it in two hours. I could point out minor audio glitches, complain about the lack of voice acting, or bring up that controller issue. But the concept of a 2D platformer is absolutely magical, perfect, and—given the visuals—incredibly captivating. If you love these kinds of games, Nocturnal will become a favorite, and I swear you’ll be able to play it over and over again.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an excellent sequel to the famous series. It features a rich story, fascinating characters, and an innovative combat system. Although it has a few minor flaws, the game offers an entertaining and engaging experience for fans of the series who are willing to spend time exploring its vast game world.

Subnautica: Below Zero is difficult to evaluate objectively. The graphics are even more beautiful, the underwater world has been enriched with additional original biomes, and you can now explore a snow-covered land as well. On the other hand, you receive far more hints, navigating the (smaller) map is no longer a problem, and survival in general isn’t as difficult. Furthermore, the presence of additional characters and the voice acting for the main heroine mean that the original atmosphere, based on your isolation, has faded. The final decision therefore depends mainly on the player’s preferences, but if you couldn’t get enough of the first Subnautica (as was the case for me), you’ll have fun with this one too. Subjectively, I’m therefore giving it an extra half point.

7.5 / 10.0 - Summum Aeterna
Feb 16, 2024

Although I’m not a big fan of this genre, I have to admit that Summum Aeterna offers an interesting rogue-lite experience. The game’s art style blends beautifully with its enjoyable gameplay. I didn’t even mind dying every few moments, as I often found myself admiring the environment and the design of the various enemies instead of fighting. A very interesting aspect is working with seeds to create the best possible world. The game is challenging, but also very addictive and fun.

9.5 / 10.0 - Persona 3 Reload
Feb 13, 2024

If you enjoyed the original Persona 3, you’ll enjoy this revamped version even more. Persona 3 Reload is bigger, better, and more action-packed. Whether we’re talking about the visuals, the music, the voice acting, or the turn-based combat system, everything is fantastic. I’m having a blast with this game—it completely draws you into the story, and you’ll lose track of time. Whether I’m fighting in Tartarus or hanging out with friends after school, none of it ever feels repetitive or boring. I love being able to decide for myself where to go, when to go, and who to go with. For me, this is definitely one of the best remakes I’ve ever played.

8 / 10.0 - Enshrouded
Feb 13, 2024

Enshrouded is a well-crafted third-person RPG with elements of survival, crafting, and a voxel world, where you can spend hundreds of hours building your own base, digging tunnels underground, or exploring a beautiful open map and battling enemies. The game offers a satisfying gameplay loop that will keep you entertained whether you’re playing solo or cooperating with other players. While some elements still need fine-tuning, even in Early Access, it’s clear that this game has tremendous potential—and even at this stage, it’s sure to eat up all your free time.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was a risk that paid off, enriching Don't Nod Entertainment's portfolio with a great game that excels at emotional storytelling and offers many choices with long-term consequences. With a compelling story, atmospheric setting, dynamic combat, and a well-crafted, dark game world, it’s an experience worth having despite minor technical flaws. The combination of love, death, sacrifice, and moral dilemmas makes this title not only a demanding challenge but also a gripping epic that keeps players on the edge of their seats.
