Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a nice addition to Illfonic's asymmetrical horror PvP catalogue, adding some interesting mechanics by pushing players to co-operate and feel much more a part of the game at all times. On the other hand, content is scarce, and in a few hours the game has nothing really new to offer. Perhaps, the team will focus on an extensive post-launch support to enrich the content, but only time will tell.

Six years after its release, Octopath Traveler confirms itself as a must-have for all RPG fans, who now have no more excuses given its release on PlayStation. From each character's storyline to the dizzying art component, Square Enix's experience is a must-have for any gamer's library, especially if you're a fan of deep storylines and immersive worlds to explore.

A good 10 years have passed, through ups and downs, but the passion of Destiny's fans can never be extinguished. With an ending that also brings this chapter to a close, we remain only satisfied and impatient to know what the future holds.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is the expansion celebrating the tenth anniversary of Zenimax's popular MMO. Sure, returning to Cyrodiil opened up a lot of memory drawers, almost like a portal to Oblivion. Unfortunately, however, we would have expected a little more in terms of content from this new chapter. It remains to be seen what will happen with the usual winter update.

Night Springs is content that fits perfectly with the universe created by Remedy and Alan Wake 2. All three episodes are characterised by deep and charismatic characters that, despite their short longevity, manage to leave a positive impression on the user, thanks also to the superb writing that the Finnish company has accustomed us to by now. Considering the budget price of the Deluxe Edition, we can do no other than recommend the package to all those who loved the latest adventure of the most famous writer in video games.

F1 24 is another excellent update to the Codemasters franchise. It's not the most exciting update of all time, as it lacks the major changes, but the changes made work well and give old and new players alike something substantial to enjoy. It may not be a necessary purchase for those who have already owned a game from the last two years, but Codemasters once again proves its ability to create the best racing games on the market.

Paper Mario and the Thousand-Year Portal is just what we needed: a fine remake that brings back one of the best games of Mario's RPG drift, perhaps the best. As we've been saying for some time, honour to Nintendo for these valuable preservation operations: the title in question is rejuvenated thanks to the brand new visual compartment, and hasn't aged a day in the brilliant mechanics and widespread humour that runs throughout the production. 2024 confirms itself as the year of memories for Nintendo fans.

Hypercharge Unboxed is a shooter that manages to entertain thanks to horde co-op gameplay with tower defence mechanisms. The fact of using action figures as characters makes the whole thing even more surreal, even if in terms of content something more could have been done.

XDefiant is still far from being a perfect game, but the start is definitely encouraging. Ubisoft has a title on its hands that could seriously put sticks (not too big, maybe even just small sticks) in Call of Duty's wheels, and now it's all in the hands of the developers: constant adjustments and content are needed if a mass exodus of users is to be avoided.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is, like its prequel, a title that makes narrative and cinematic components its strong point. Artistically, we are faced with an inspired and immersive game, thanks to the way the protagonist's psychosis has been told. Unfortunately, at the gameplay level, no great strides have been made compared to the past, making these sections quite passive and not very interactive. A real shame considering Ninja Theory's experience and skill.

System Shock was and still is a seminal video game. The remake of Nightdive does perfect justice to this classic immersive sim that created an entire genre, with a splendid graphical compartment and some insights that modernise the whole thing. At the same time, it should be pointed out that having proposed an almost 1:1 remake brought back some of the flaws of the original, and prevented the entire system from being modernised.

Another Crab's Treasure is a level-headed soulslike. The title offers highly entertaining gameplay, a fascinating story line and takes the player through a unique experience, linking moments of irony with moments of reflection on deep issues such as pollution and social inequality.

Mediterranea Inferno is an all-Italian game, in which three homosexual boys come together after lockdown to come to terms with their own frailties, their fears and the loneliness ingrained in their souls. This visual novel abandons political correctness to offer an irreverent experience, a slap in the face in many ways. Interesting, but definitely not for everyone.

We awaken as a vampire. We hunt for blood in nearby settlements to regain our strength and, to survive, we must avoid the scorching sun. We build our castle and make it thrive in an ever-changing open world full of secrets. V Rising is a solid networked survival game. The enormous depth of vampire abilities that can be unlocked and items that can be created leaves a lot of room for freedom and customisation.

Short in duration but solidly paced and with a unique style, Indika will leave those in search of an original tale in the panorama of narrative adventures satisfied. However, it fails to fully realise the ambitions of a work that could have given more in the way of entertainment.

Sand Land is a game with mixed emotions. While on the one hand we have a good characterisation of the characters and a pleasant mixture of action sequences and RPG tints, on the other side of the coin the Bandai Namco title suffers from an open world that is too vast and quite poor in offerings. Still, it remains an enjoyable product that can be played without too many pretensions, all the more so for those who are fans of Akira Toriyama's work.

Reigns is certainly a very special game, a roguelike with a lot of character writing skills and simple but effective gameplay. In the previous games in the series, the mechanics were certainly more complex, as in Three Kingdoms, but Beyond still manages to defend itself. If you are looking for a title that is different from the usual and at a low cost, here it is!

Sker Ritual responds to the incessant demand from COD Zombies orphans by offering a game that traces almost every part of the mode presented by Treyarch sixteen years ago. If you're a fan of co-operative FPS titles and don't mind a few momentary technical glitches, Sker Ritual is a product not to be missed, all the more so if you spent hours upon hours in Call of Duty's undead-filled maps.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a video game that gave us great emotions. This is thanks to a story that deals with a very mature theme that is not always told in video games: the loss of a person. The narrative is touching and the whole thing is accompanied by metroidvania-style gameplay that, although more simplified than other titles in the genre, still manages to entertain. All this is accompanied by an inspiration of African customs and traditions that is really well thought out, and a very attractive retail price (20 euros).

The Rising Tide is a content-rich expansion, with a well-written story and just the right amount of novelties, from the new location to explore to the Kairos Portal. It fully succeeds in its intention of bringing us back to Valisthea, tying up loose ends and making us dream a little more. A DLC not to be missed by anyone who enjoyed the world of Final Fantasy XVI.
