In Conclusion, Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer III is their Warhammer-franchise swan song and it exits stage left in a massive, yet dignified manner. With eight unique factions, most with their own extraordinarily unique sub-factions (with the exception of the Daemons of Chaos), a huge, multi-tiered campaign map, a complete overhaul of sieges and how they work, dozens of unique and absolutely gorgeous battlemaps, the best music in the franchise, and housing one of the best-told and designed tutorial prologue- with a little more work, some clean-up for balancing, Total War: Warhammer III could very-well unseat the reigning Total War king, Total War: Shogun 2.

Total War: WARHAMMER III is a finishing touch to the sub-franchise created by Creative Assembly. No more.

Considering how well-established Total War: Warhammer is as a franchise; its third installment takes bold directions in terms of combat and sieges. Easy to grasp, hard to master and filled to the brim with great factions.

The culmination of the trilogy we were all waiting for. When the patch that unifies the three games is released it will be an absolute 10.

An excellent third entry to finish off the trilogy, Total War: Warhammer III rolls out the big guns to give players the most freedom and flexibility in its most enjoyable outing yet.

Total Warhammer III has some flaws in its core gameplay loop that can make long-drawn-out campaigns feel a little tedious, and I find myself starting more new games than I do finishing them. However, what this game does for the Total Warhammer series makes it undeniably the best of the three, and the factions available to play are by far my favorite in the franchise.

It's true that the developers listened to the community and made changes to parts of the game that fans complained about in the second game, and in my opinion, they made those changes well. Given its scope and capabilities, the game is more extensive, has around 100 gigabytes, and is also quite performance intensive. Unfortunately, I didn't avoid optimization issues where the game should have run smoothly but didn't. Also, the size of the game will grow due to the planned DLC. Additionally, players of previous installments can play as factions from those titles. So it's safe to say that if something works, there's no point in tinkering. Still, I think Total War: Warhammer 3 deserves more innovation.
