Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart Reviews
In the end Gigantosaurus Dino Kart ticks all the right boxes for a game aimed at younger players. Not only is it well presented but it plays quite well on the Xbox Series X and more importantly is a great local multiplayer experience.
Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart should provide a fun time for the younger players in your family but older players likely won’t enjoy it as much.
Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is a good racing game for youngsters, especially if they're fans of the animated series. Grown-ups may get bored of its slow pace but it's still such a bright and cheerful game that it's easy to fall in love with even if you don't fit its demographic.
Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is a very limited game, especially in terms of content. You actually only have 2 game modes; Single-player and split-screen driving on the different tracks. Unfortunately, online is not possible and I do not expect any addition to this in the future. The adventure mode is actually nothing and is identical to the race mode, only you complete several races in one zip. For a price of half a triple A game you can expect a bit more, to be honest. The game is certainly accessible and not too difficult for the young players. My child (4 years old) was still a bit too young for the game, but in principle every child from the age of 6 can get started with this. Had the game been a bit more atmospheric, I could have overlooked the low amount of content, but because there are a few things missing in that regard, I would only recommend this game if it ends up in the budget bins.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is a fun, family-friendly game. Choose from a range of familiar characters as you race through Cretacia to be crowned champion. Fortunately, the mechanics are easy to understand and the controls are fantastic for the youngest players.

So this basically ends up being the typical licensed game that feels like a godsend to fans of the franchise in question, but is a cautionary purchase for everyone else. Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is easily 3DClouds’ best attempt at a kid-friendly racing game, and it has enough mechanics to make it feel like the perfect introductory racing title for your kids before you teach them about the horrific tale of the Blue Shell, but it’s a bit too brief in terms of content.
