Critic Reviews for Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star
Like the standard Fitness Boxing titles, Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star is a straightforward enough exercise game that will give you a workout if you commit to it. Despite its fun tie-in, however, the very basic gameplay combined with the limited number of routines and sparse music selection means you're going to need a strong tolerance to repetition.
There are certainly some positive elements to Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star. It encourages progress, uses unlocks well, and demonstrates stretches in an easy-to-follow manner. Sadly, the issues with the core gameplay and the price point make it difficult to recommend. For some casual exercise and at a lower price-point, then it might be worth picking up, especially if you’re a fan of Fist of the North Star. But there are better options out there.
This game is unbelievably silly, almost to a surrealistic degree, but man, it works. Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star is a fun mixture between a workout session you can take with you on-the-go and a fun homage to one of Japan’s most famous franchises ever. It looks the part, sounds the part, and its controls are way more reliable than I was expecting.
If you've always wanted to get started in exercise titles of this kind, and you like manganime, Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star is the most attractive way to get started.

At first, it's tough to understand how Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star exists. The intersection of fans of the exercising franchise and Hokuto no Ken must be way too small to justify a game mixing the two brands. However, it's a combo that works. Yes, the gameplay base is still untouched and those who have been playing boxe games from the get-go will be frustrated in seeing pretty much all the same issues here. However, the game still provides good aerobics and muscle training activities, and can be a good ally for a healthier life. Besides, the modes inspired by Fist of the North Star can diversify the gameplay.
