Four Sided Fantasy has a fantastic central mechanic, but it doesn't do anything with the mechanic. When later levels become glitchy and the game never really impresses in any other area, there's little to keep you in this fantasy.

I found the screen lock and wrap mechanics repetitive at times, and I definitely wished for a story and greater meaning from the adventure.

Four Sided Fantasy is pretty to look at and listen to and many of its puzzles are cleverly put together and tough to solve.

Four Sided Fantasy tries to shine in the crowded sector of puzzle/platforms.Despite some some technical flaws the game is brilliant and appealing, even if the main adventure is quite short.

At the very least, Four Sided Fantasy is a welcome addition to the flourishing pool of indie puzzle platformers, and is yet more proof that there's still plenty of life left in the genre.

There are a few minor graphical issues, the experience is short and replayability is rather limited, but Four Sided Fantasy is a truly unique experience that's easy to pick up and just as easy to enjoy. It might not be a title players can return to again and again, but it is a short and sweet puzzle platformer that shows that there is still plenty of life left in the genre.

Four Sided Fantasy is a very unique game despite appearing as the opposite on the surface. Puzzle platformers may not be on the cutting edge of what's fresh and original in gaming these days, but Four Sided Fantasy shows the genre can still deliver surprises.

Four Sided Fantasy is a brilliantly complex puzzle game. Now this might not be the game for everyone and a few will give up after the first hurdle, but that would be a shame because it has so much more to offer. The design, sound and concept are original and unique, whilst the price is perfect and makes it well worth a punt.

Four Sided Fantasy is an amazing game. It had me fascinated from the first puzzle to the final screen. Much like other stellar puzzle games like Portal and Braid, it takes what seems like at first a simple concept and twists it in interesting and challenging (but never frustrating) ways.

In looking backward Four Sided Fantasy reconnects with gaming's most baseline experience of a person, a screen, and the space in between, but it is in moving forward, sometimes clumsily but with determination, that the game finds something new to say about it.

It all works really rather well, and is accompanied by a very pleasing ambient soundtrack, along with nature noises chirping and squawking over the Eno-esque keyboardy tones. And it gets rewardingly difficult, without feeling unfair, or relying on ninja reflexes.
