Critic Reviews for Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania
That doesn’t change the fact that if you own Vampire Survivors, Ode to Castlevania is utterly essential. It’s easily the best DLC for the game, which acts as an incredible tribute to one of our favourite franchises while retaining and expanding on Vampire Survivors' endlessly addictive loop. The pile of secrets waiting for you is anything but miserable, and we guarantee you'll be gobsmacked.
Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is another sensational bit of content, and one that only costs a tiny amount to whip your way into.
Vampire Survivor's loving tribute, Ode to Castlevania, has come around full circle (of the moon) for an incredible add on that increases the fun of the main game ten fold.
Vampire Survivors's Ode to Castlevania DLC is an incredible labour of love for the very games that inspired it. It includes heaps of content, fan service, and just pure effort into such an amazing piece of extra content.
Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is certainly the definitive DLC for this iconic roguelite. Packed with content based on Konami's franchise, the expansion brings a large number of new characters, with many new skills and items. In addition, we have a new stage full of interesting challenges and, above all, incredible surprises. It takes a little dedication to find these treasures — especially for new players —, but it is well worth it.

The DLC delivers a considerable amount of content, with a high value considering the price of the base game and the game itself, with several characters to unlock, equipment to test, power combinations, a huge stage, and so on. In addition, the developers' affection for the Belmont clan is clear, and this contributes greatly to the quality of the package as a whole.

Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is a very interesting homage to the Castlevania saga, but the important thing is that the new characters and weapons fit great in VS. I highlight above all the new stage, which is a blast and is the biggest in the game. By the way, the DLC is bigger than they say... And that's as far as I can read.
