The two halves make for a whole that may have an amount of 'content' on par with other expansion packs, but that whole feels less than the sum of its parts.

Though it may not appeal much to players who don’t care about occults, The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature is much more than that: it opens up a lot of new avenues for design and overall storytelling in an absolutely enchanting world.

The Enchanted by Nature expansion introduces a fairy-tale world, new supernatural creatures, and game mechanics that encourage coexistence with nature. However, these are gameplay elements that we already have in the game in a certain way. Although fairies are once again a well-designed occult type of Sim and are the driving force behind the entire expansion, it's not enough to make it a significant expansion, and Enchanted by Nature should therefore be more of a game pack.

We really like The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature. The fairies are charmingly designed, and the many clothing items and options for customizing our Sims' appearance, from wings to face paint, are very well done. We particularly like that living in harmony with nature is central to the game in more ways than one. Finally, you can buy houseplants that you have to take care of, and Sims can become one with nature with the new “Natural Lifestyle” skill. Making medicines and the new, very relaxed career are also really fun. The pack also looks great. The playful furniture, such as the floating mushroom lamps, has a mystical quality and creates an enchanting atmosphere. The neighborhood is really well done and varied in design. Unfortunately, it feels a bit cramped, and the rabbit holes detract from the overall picture, as always. For all Sim players who love the supernatural and nature, we can definitely recommend this expansion pack.

In The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, you'll grow wings and experience what the world looks like from a mischievous fairy's perspective. The best things were the fairy-like clothes and the natural life skills, but the new area Innisgreen was a bit lacking.

Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack is a favorable pack. It adds a large amount of creativity all up to Simmers. The pack carries a lot of dimension to fairies, giving them the grounds to all be different and have different experiences. Being able to build with all the new items, clothing, and accessories brought much more imagination to make fairies come alive. I really liked this pack since I enjoy fairies across all types of media, including part of a tattoo I have, and this pack captured it in a perfect way by adding lots of new nature items. Not even just fairies, but the quests and career choices are what I would have thought of for fairies or natural livers. Something I would have liked to see is more fairy interaction with pets (via Cats and Dogs). I feel like it would have been so fun to have fairy pets as well. Although, the pack is very fun to play with and the Cottage Living pack pairs well with it.

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature is a charming and content-rich addition that brings the fantasy genre into a grounded, eco-friendly light. It doesn’t try to reinvent the game, but rather deepens it with new systems that encourage exploration, creativity, and storytelling. Whether you’re a builder, a legacy player, or someone who just wants to give their Sim a pet hedgehog made of moss (true story), there’s something in these woods for you. Is it for everyone? Probably not. If you prefer high-tech careers, fast city life, or ultra-modern aesthetics, you might find the flower crowns and crystal groves a bit too “woo-woo.” But for players who enjoy fantasy, natural beauty, and slow-paced immersion, this DLC is a woodland dream come true. So go ahead, grab your hiking boots, stock up on acorn tea, and prepare to get lost (in a good way). Nature has never felt so enchanting. The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature gets the Thumb Culture Platinum Award!

The Sims 4: Betoverende Natuur delivers enchanting occult gameplay and stunning fairies, but its nature theme feels half-baked; great for fantasy fans, less so for players seeking a true nature experience.
