Critic Reviews for Rememoried
A different walking simulator that relies mainly on our gaze to articulate its mechanics. A game as dreamlike as lysergic with a couple of great ideas that make the whole shine.

Rememoried is a visual feast with some clever puzzles, but there's a much better game waiting to be made.
Rememoried is a very different game on the PC that is great value but does lack some direction
At the end of the day, Rememoried is an artistic experiment that tries to be a game. There isn’t a story to speak of, but rather a collection of thoughts and comments on the philosophy of the soul and/or journey in the universe. It has problems as a game, especially in the platforming sections and it has some very uneven voice work. Visually is where its strengths lie and it does this very well indeed.
Rememoried is the perfect type of game for those who like to figure things out with little help.
In contrast to its beautifully elegant and minimalist cousin, Proteus, which I referred to at the start, Rememoried is hauntingly beautiful and has a far greater depth of emotional substance. But it is begging us, as players, a little to hard to embrace it and recognise its genius.
Rememoried is an artistic game which revolves around simple puzzles and exploration of small environments. Technically there isn't a 'story' which I could piece together, but rather a combination of various different thoughts and dreams all combined into a beautiful looking experience. The core mechanic revolves around seeking a way out of each instance and platforming, platforming which can get frustrating and seem impossible at times yet also therapeutic and relaxing in other places. Visually the game is gorgeous, the music is perfectly suited to each situation, and the voice-over work fits in really well with the 'dream' aesthetic.
