Pioneers of Pagonia is a legitimate successor to The Settlers. Rediscovering classic settlement gameplay with modern helpers was great fun — building roads, gathering resources, and watching settlers bustle is still enjoyable in 2025. Only a few hardware issues and the awkward military system slightly dent our overall impression.
