ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN The Forsaken Hollows Reviews
However, despite my reservations about the map and the recycling, The Forsaken Hollows has finally made me appreciate Elden Ring: Nightreign a bit more . I still have my reservations about some of its more blunted aspects, but at least I no longer hate a game that didn't deserve my hatred anyway.

Elden Ring Nightreign's first major DLC adds some interesting twists on the game's core formula, but there's just not quite enough of it.
Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows knows its audience and is a near-perfect addition for fans of Soulslikes.
The Forsaken Hollows is pretty much a given for any fan of Nightreign, even if the lack of new weapons stuns the replay value.
Overall, Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC that depends on what you take from it. If you're interested in new characters, new bosses, and a sort-of-new map, it's absolutely worth the cost. However, if you are hoping for something to refresh the original map or characters, there's not a lot of that. For the most part, I think that any longtime fan of Nightreign should get the DLC. The bosses are great, the new characters are fun, and just having them around adds some much-needed life to the game.
While Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows’ new characters are truly great, the lack of new weapons proves to be a sticking point. Hardcore players shouldn’t hesitate to download this DLC, but more casual fans best wait for a sale.
The Forsaken Hollows expands the Elden Ring Nightreign experience with a new map filled with secrets and two truly memorable final battles. If you liked the main game, it's the perfect excuse to continue playing.

The Forsaken Hollows is a great excuse to jump back into Limveld and fight gnarly bosses in beautiful arenas and feel cool doing it.
The Forsaken Hollows is a solid, well-maintained expansion that does exactly what you expect. Nothing more, nothing less. Some players may feel the amount of content is a bit lacking, and it's certainly not a reason to buy Nightreign if the original didn't impress you. This is more of the same, but well-executed. Would this content have worked better as a free update? Probably. Still, FromSoftware once again delivers quality, and there are few real technical or content flaws. For loyal players, The Forsaken Hollows is a welcome reason to return. For everyone else, Nightreign remains an experiment that still can't quite match the success of Elden Ring.
