Critic Reviews for Junkster
Overflowing with charm and comfort, Junkster is a fun 3D adventure that blends platforming and puzzle-solving. While the narrative, challenge, and graphics aren't exactly impressive, the game relies on creative mechanics in building machines and paths as its main selling point, even if some issues prevent the gameplay from being as precise as it should be.

The gameplay elements in Junkster blend into a lovely mix for any 3D platforming fan, especially those who love to build and solve puzzles. ⚙️
At the end of the day, our experiences are always individual, and this game fulfilled its purpose for me. Perhaps someone with higher expectations or hoping for something more ambitious might find what's delivered here relatively mediocre, but I emphasize that despite appearing to be just another 3D indie platformer, Junkster reveals a concern for the structuring of its levels and challenges that elevate the game to a much more interesting level.

Junkster is a well-made, genuinely enjoyable 3D platformer. Its comic book visual style is a great art direction choice, which I feel is a great way to attract players. The building mechanic, while slightly tedious, adds a smart additional layer to familiar platforming foundations. Junkster is not a particularly challenging game, and the build system may need a bit of fine-tuning (or at least some practice), but neither issue detracts from the overall experience. For fans of non-grindy, collectathon platformers, and shorter accessible titles, Junkster is well worth picking up. Just don’t forget to smash the blue crates!
I think Junkster is well worth a download. If you’re a fan of classic 3D Platformers, and want to play something relatively light with some surprisingly novel gameplay mechanics, I can think of worse ways to spend a weekend. Give it a shot, it might surprise you! It’s out tomorrow on Xbox and Game Pass, as well as PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
A really pleasant surprise of a budget-priced game that delivers smart 3D platforming and some creative building to accentuate play
"Junkster" is an honest, well-crafted platformer that offers more than its modest price suggests, thanks to its unusual building twist and strong visuals.
