Planet Zoo 2 Reviews
Planet Zoo 2 is a wonderful example of what makes simulation games so appealing. It gives you the tools to create something personal, encourages you to experiment and rewards you for taking the time to get things right. Whether you’re designing elaborate habitats, watching a newborn animal take its first steps or expanding your zoo into a thriving attraction, there is a tremendous amount to enjoy. The introduction of aquatic animals, aviaries and natural reserves makes this feel like a meaningful evolution of the original formula, rather than simply another collection of animals and building pieces. The stronger conservation focus is particularly welcome, giving your efforts a purpose beyond entertaining visitors and keeping the finances in the black. It isn’t perfect, though. The management systems can become demanding, and the Xbox interface occasionally makes simple tasks more awkward than they should be. A few rough edges also take the shine off an otherwise impressive experience. These issues are worth acknowledging, but they don’t erase the sheer amount of creativity and enjoyment on offer. If you love management games, enjoy getting creative or simply want to build a wildlife park that you can call your own, this is an easy recommendation. It may ask for patience, but the reward is a living, breathing world that you can shape one habitat at a time. So, get those gates open, keep your animals happy and remember to watch the budget. Your visitors are waiting, and there’s a whole wild world to build!
Planet Zoo 2 delivers exactly what I expected from it. Thanks to Frontier’s extensive experience with theme park and zoo management simulators, what we have here is an impressively deep and detailed zoo simulator, complete with a robust editor that gives you an enormous amount of freedom to design the park of your dreams. While the new wildlife reserve mode isn’t quite as entertaining as traditional zoo management, it’s still an interestin addition to the gameplay loop.
Ultimately, Planet Zoo 2 is a good sequel to what I already considered one of the best games in the genre, even if it doesn't quite improve upon everything I would have liked it to. The addition of aquatic animals, flying birds and the expanded conservation systems are all welcome, and the sheer level of creativity and depth on offer remains incredibly impressive.
So there’s definitely been some progress, and the game has a strong foundation, but I can’t truly recommend Planet Zoo 2 until at least the many bugs, the issues with the online features, and the crashes have been fixed.

Planet Zoo 2 has fewer of them and much more to do. If that game never clicked for you, this sequel won't try too hard to change your mind. If you like building, caring for animals, and watching a landscape recover, Planet Zoo 2 is a great way to spend your time.
The appeal of a zoo isn't the satisfaction of building an efficient attraction. For me, it's when you see a creature doing something charming and realize you've forgotten, for a little while, that you're supposed to be in charge.
Planet Zoo 2 isn't a revolution, but it doesn't need to be. It takes what made the original great and improves upon it in every way.
Planet Zoo 2 doesn’t completely reinvent the management sim, but it tweaks all the right things. The day-to-day zoo management of building, researching, and keeping guests happy is as charming as ever, while custom-built aquariums and, above all, the new rewilding feature breathe fresh life into the game.

Planet Zoo 2 is so rich in depth and full of life. Whether it is the animals, wildlife reserves, or all the building options and customizations, there is so much to love in Planet Zoo 2. While Technical issues can bring it down and hamper your experience, Planet Zoo 2 still maintains its charm.
Planet Zoo 2 comes highly recommended because it once again offers a simulation and management experience that combines the ability to build your own zoo with animal care and species conservation. The variety of habitats has been expanded to include aquariums and aviaries. All of this is accompanied by outstanding visuals, especially in the animations of each animal. The main issue could arise in the future with the constant release of paid content, but overall, it’s a game that offers hours of fun creating and managing a zoo to your liking and according to your preferences.

Planet Zoo 2 feels like Frontier listened to the people who spent years wrestling with the first game. The things that used to be a chore now take far less effort, and that leaves more room for the part I actually love: making a habitat look and feel right.
Planet Zoo 2 is a good management simulator, especially for those who enjoy building environments, caring for animals, and monitoring the growth of a business.
