Critic Reviews for Endless Legend 2
Endless Legend 2 is a magnificent example of why Amplitude is so loved by 4X fans.
Endless Legend often sells itself short. It doesn’t brag too boldly about how much is going on, and doesn’t toot its own horn as mythical events transpire all around me. These legends are strong. They need to flex even more.
Endless Legend 2 is no ordinary strategy game where you simply gather enough wood and stone, build an army, and destroy the enemy base. Here, it is truly about planning, making decisions, choosing the best path, and selecting friends and foes'all with such depth and scope that it can sometimes feel overwhelming.

ENDLESS Legend 2 is a great turn-based strategy game. It takes familiar genre ideas and enhances them in fun ways, while featuring eight factions that play differently.
ENDLESS Legend 2 is rough around the edges, but the shifting world, distinctive factions, and meaty strategy make this a sequel with plenty of ideas of its own.
A good sequel, brimming with ideas and a pleasure to discover, but one that still struggles to maintain the same level of interest right through to the conclusion.

A worthy sequel parsing together features from Amplitude's other strategy games.

ENDLESS Legend 2 is an excellent game — and a genuine improvement on its predecessor. What ties everything together is how well its systems work: distinct factions mean totally different playstyles, Saiadha keeps shifting so you never settle into a routine, and building your empire is always engaging.
