Stardew Valley Reviews
Stardew Valley is an incredible example of how characterization and choices can create an engrossing gaming experience. Each choice you make has lasting consequences and repercussions. If anything, Stardew Valley gives you not only a farming experience, but a look at how life can change with hard work and caring about your fellow man.
The world is charming, full of secrets, great storylines, and the gameplay systems all work very well together. The end result is a fantastic farm-life-sim that is incredibly hard to put down.
Stardew Valley is an extremely relaxing and fun game. The variety of activities to perform keeps the player glued to the screen and turns this into one of the most addictive games of the last years. It deserves to be played by anyone with access to it.

Stardew Valley is one of those games I could write about for pages and pages. Whatever the next day had in store for me whether it was harvesting, fishing, exploring the mines or simply running a quick errand for a friend, I couldn’t stop playing. The constant pull to earn money or better my relationship with the townspeople or just make my farm the best it could possibly be was a constant and something that continues to bring me back even now. Stardew Valley is a delightfully charming and deep experience and easily one of the Nintendo eShop’s best.
Time-consuming, life stealing, family-friendly fun. Stardew Valley is all of that and more and you would be mad if you didn’t give it a shot.
Stardew Valley is a game I came to adore on the PC and I’m thrilled that it is now on the Switch so it can be played anywhere. Within my family there’s so much love for this game that my oldest daughter specifically bought her Switch for this very reason. Though she has “finished” the game at least 3 times already, and is a walking encyclopedia of Stardew factoids, she still keeps playing. That’s the power of this game, and the sense of serenity that’s so easy to have when playing it, and it is why I’m giving it the first 10 I’ve ever awarded for this site. It truly is a modern classic, blending elements multiple games have touched on before and combining them in just the right ways to make something truly special.
Stardew Valley is a game that delivers so much more than it ever promised. With simple mechanics fantastically executed and a perfectly realised world that continues expanding throughout your 50+ hour playtime it’s easy to fall for this charming and endearing departure from games that are trying too hard.
Stardew Valley is a simple game at first, but you’ll find it’ll quickly suck you into a world of farming, bonding, and adventuring. It’s got a real simplicity about it which, along with its charm, makes it a really fun title that is now available on console.
All in all this is an amazingly fun little game - yes, some stuff can get repetitive, however, there is enough content to always find something to do. They could further improve the game by expanding on the friendship and family system, however, for the content available in the game coupled with its relatively low price point, it can offer potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay that you can easily get lost in.
If you like Harvest Moon, this game is for you. Hundreds of hours can be poured into this game very easily. The game controls in a simple manner, and yet is so deep when it comes to its gameplay mechanics. Easily one of the best games available on Steam.
Stardew Valley is a brilliant game, fun, engaging and packed with things to see and do. The gameplay loop is satisfying and one hour and easily turn into six when you play it.
Stardew Valley definitely gives a lot for Harvest Moon fans but also for newcomers to the genre. Whether it's farming, mining, fishing, or even just talking to your neighbors, Pelican Town is a fantastic video game world to spend tons of hours crafting your own adventure.
