Trine 2: Complete Story Reviews
If for some reason you don't have a PC or a Wii U, then the PlayStation 4 version is going to be the best you can get. There's a strong variety of unique puzzles, and with the gorgeous world that can be taken-in, Trine 2 ends up being a luscious adventure.
It may no longer be essential, but Trine 2: Complete Story is excellent nonetheless.
It may be the same game yet again but gorgeous visuals and cunning puzzles make Trine 2 a great showcase for the PlayStation 4 and its online store.
Trine 2: Complete Story is an impressive realisation of a magical and whimsical tale that you can see and play. The plot is innocent fun; the graphics, colourful environments, and audio are unbelievably captivating; and the gameplay, while falling short in minor areas, shines with excellent puzzles and platforming. Simply put, it's an exemplary indie game that has the makings of a blockbuster title – and that is no fairy tale.
Trine 2: Complete Story is a grand embellishment of one of the most charming and accomplished adventure platformers in recent years. Bolstered by a wealth of additional content, multiplayer modes and the gorgeous 1080p/60 fps veneer that PlayStation 4 allows, this should be the next game to find a home on your PlayStation 4.
Trine 2: Complete Story may not bring anything new but that hardly matters in this marvelous work. A brilliant puzzler with fluid controls and gameplay, a gorgeous art style which still holds on to this day and with the added handheld value of the Nintendo Switch, everyone should give Trine 2: Complete Story a go, including those who already know it.

It is so, so easy to remark about Trine 2: Complete Story's remarkable graphics when the whole game is such a visual delight from start to finish, but the final product overall is a wonderful fantasy tale that comes together beautifully. Trine 2 is one of the greatest video games ever made and this Complete Story version is the best way to play it so far, especially with the Switch's portability.
Trine 2 in its most complete edition, and despite the time the game already has, has not lost its freshness at all, maintains the firm base of its first installment, levels it in its characters, and power in its possibilities, in addition to unite all available content in a total of 20 levels full of challenge, puzzles, jumps and action. A fairy tale that will amaze us with its settings, its landscapes, and its art of unusual beauty that is already the undisputed hallmark of the franchise. Also let's not forget the more than interesting multiplayer three, online or local, which will make the game more fun if possible. Highly recommended.
