60 Seconds! Reviews
60 Seconds! is a blast (groan).
All told, 60 Seconds! is a disappointing addition to Switch's growing library and one that we would recommend you take a pass on. Although the idea at its core isn't half bad, there's very little here that we would say is done well, and given that there's no shortage of excellent games on the Switch eShop, you'd be better off spending your money on something else. Big fans of survival games might find some enjoyment in this one, but we'd recommend you pick up The Flame In The Flood instead, or wait for more survival titles to arrive.
60 Seconds! offers up a different way to play a mobile game that features some light-hearted gameplay and a brief time sink. However, gameplay quickly contradicts itself, and the port work offers little help to the cause. There is some fun and some charm, but it's very short lived.
While I enjoyed most of my time playing 60 Seconds I do wish the gameplay was a bit more varied. it does get a bit samey after a few runs so it is best to play in short bursts. It is entertaining though and will not break the bank.
If you are wanting a tough and challenging stilized release on Nintendo Switch, then you should give 60 Seconds! Other than the controls which feel a bit awkward, the game offers an interesting take on the survival genre.
Between good and horrible, 60 Seconds! is almost horrible. The gameplay and dialogue is repetitive, horrible and buggy controls, and annoying glass-breaking sounds make your whole first 60 seconds of playthrough a waste of your time.
60 seconds! Reatomized offers a washout of the original delivery with higher resolution and new additions. However, it does not have a strong argument for this remastering if the original has already been played. The different game modes, while providing a bit of variety, still revolve around the same constant repetitive approach and can get tiring in the long run.

60 Seconds! is a game that feels underdeveloped. There are some good ideas in here, but the game controls during the sixty second supply blitz are incredibly frustrating. Things get better once you get into the bomb shelter, but since everything is presented to you through a journal, you won’t feel as invested after a while.
60 Seconds! was a really interesting survive the apocalypse game, yet one that is rather limited in terms of scope.
There can be no doubt that 60 Seconds! ranks among the more hilarious and unexpected additions to the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch. But it’s also a game that isn’t without its shortcomings, whether that be ever so awkward button input or worries around its longevity. There’s still fun to be found in surviving a world now ridden with mutant cockroaches, but your enthusiasm to exist in it is likely to last for as long as the family survives in the shelter before giving up.
