Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - System Rift Reviews
A decent, but not essential, two-hour expansion for Mankind Divided that’s ultimately more of the same.
System Rift does an admirable job of tying Breach mode into the main story while starting to fill in the gaps between Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, but it doesn't feel complete unto itself. You’ll get two to four hours more of excellent Deus Ex gameplay, and a glimpse of what the future may hold, but not much more, which is just a bit of a tease.
System Rift is a short but sweet experience.
System Rift makes you care about the story it throws at you by getting you invested in its characters, whether through their noble motives or sheer humor.
System Rift focuses on the strengths of Deus Ex to craft a satisfying stealth romp.
System Rift is a quite enjoyable DLC but it doesn't seem to last long enough and doesn't give the players any chances to develop their experience already gained by playing Mankind Divided. As a matter of fact, it is just a link between the campaign and the Breach mode.

A fun reason to jump back into Deus Ex, but not necessarily worth dropping coin for the Season Pass.
Despite its polish, System Rift is a disappointing exercise in ennui, offering very little new or interesting over its two-hour playing time.
Its short length and literally only one new obstacle added means that, although it’s just as fun as the main title, it’s lacking the qualities to be an amazing DLC.
System Rift is a worthy DLC after all. It is not very long but it is enjoyable in its short period. Its story is good but not an exceptional one. You won’t lose anything if you don’t play this but it will satisfice Mankind Divided fans.

'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - System Rift' made for a happy surprise and happy return to one of my favorite 2016 games. There is story and gameplay worth having here, but nothing radical like a full-powered Jensen or even new weapons or abilities. Somehow though, 'System Rift' does deliver on content that links the main game with 'Breach.' I'd be happy if the other big DLC, 'A Criminal Past,' can deliver as effectively.
Altogether, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – System Rift is a short mission that presents a more personal story than the main game, but it is over all too quickly.
