Critic Reviews for SENRAN KAGURA Bon Appétit! - Full Course
It might be a little difficult talking about this one with your friends...but then again, maybe not. If you like teenage girls with large chests, food, and rhythm games, then Senran Kagura Bon Appétit! - Full Course will deliver for you.
Bon Appétit is one part rhythm game, one part cooking, and endless amounts of grimy sexuality. The more time you spend with it, the more likely it is you’ll come away feeling dirty and depressed. If you want to both enjoy a game and look at boobs, there are plenty of better titles out there.
In Bon Appetit, the woman are well designed and varied. The animation and physics have been amped to provide far more bounce in their breasts then you’d find in reality.
Bon Appétit will still have its followers, and while not inherently bad as far as gameplay goes, the songs used don’t really do much for me and as we all know, the visual style and content makes me feel gross pretty much all of the time.
Overall, Senran Kagura Bon Appetit is going to be exactly what was expected for fans of Senran Kagura titles. It’s a decently fun game that may or may not last depending on how into rhythm games the buyer is, with the heavy fan-service that makes Senran Kagura the lewd but not nude series it’s built itself on. Not complex, but it doesn’t really need to be, anyone who was looking forward to this title already had their eyes on it, and for those people, the Steam release offers the definitive way to play the game, at full resolution with any controller that has at least ten or so buttons. Fun but fleeting.
If Iron Chef and Russ Meyer collaborated... this may well be the result (but with a bit more humour).
Senran Kagura Bon Appetit Full Course delivers a good fan-service experience with the pretty girls and all the other things, but it's far from being an even decent rhythm game.

Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! is what happens when scantily-clad ninjas face off to see who's the greatest chef. Whenever the lecherous judge yells, "Delicious!" clothes spontaneously combust. That's pretty much the extent of it. Not everyone is going to be thrilled by such a concept, and some might be entirely put off by it. On the other hand, this product has a je ne sais quoi that's oddly admirable. Even when faced with all of this flesh, players are liable to find themselves laughing more than anything else. Everything is just so blatant and extreme that it becomes commonplace, so one can't help but roll with the punches. Maybe it's just easier to defend a premise when it results in quite a good game.
