This cutesy game creates some wonderful multiplayer scenarios through a number of unique puzzles and tasks, but could Snipperclips really be the Nintendo Switch's sleeper hit?

As far as I'm concerned, the two best original games for the Nintendo Switch are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Snipperclips. The latter isn't as spectacular as the former, but it's still a great game.

The fun loving nature of this game and the unique quality it brings to the puzzle genre make this game perfect. It all fits together so well, from the loading screen to the characters, nothing is out of place or feels awkward. The amount of content means that you can just keep going back again and again, working out new ways to defeat the levels with friends.

While the game is super fun solving the puzzles with a partner based on the communication and coordination, after complete all levels there's no reason to come back and play again.

Snipperclips offers hours of head-scratching puzzle fun with you and a friend. The price point is fair for the number of levels and modes it offers to encourage you to come back to work with your friends in party mode or take them on in Blitz mode. The difficulty curve is steep and some of the puzzles are too cryptic, but with determination and proper communication, you can tackle any problem. Make sure you bring a friend!

Snipperclips may be a charming little cooperative puzzler but its lack of content and tendency to be more annoying than fun makes it a difficult game to widely recommend.

Fun paper-slicingg gameplay provides plenty amusing multiplayer puzzle-solving moments, despite the relative lack of challenge. With only 45 stages, 'Snipperclips' can feel like a trimmed experience, just warming players up to its novel, physics-based ideas before cutting to the credits, but it's quite entertaining while it lasts.

Snipping your construction paper friends into different shapes is a clever idea, and one that will test the limits of your real-life friendships. Cute squishy faces and grade school-esque design add to Snipperclips' charms, though they're slightly offset by some shallow additional game modes and wonky multiplayer.

Snipperclips is the perfect demonstration of Nintendo Switch's capabilities when it comes to local multiplayer: SFB Games' new puzzle game offers many fun stages to be played with your friends or when you want to have a break between a dungeon and a boss fight in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
