Back to Basics Approach

Fast-Paced Thrills

Rote Campaign

Call of Duty: WWII is a smart return to "boots on the ground" combat with plenty of fun to be had in PVP and Zombies. Its basic campaign brings it down, but WWII is still a fine entry in this venerable franchise.

The best Call Of Duty for several years, but it still owes too much to the past – and the campaign's attempts at a more serious tone are only half successful.
