The game is relentless in surprising you and cranking up the tension, and you will spend many hours trying to unravel its mysteries. This installment solves the series' biggest flaw, which was usually its ending, and instead offers up the best, and craziest, possible conclusion to the series.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony continues the series tradition of a great story with a memorable cast of characters. The plot twists this time are the craziest yet and the game never takes a moment to slow down after a relatively slow paced start.

If you are a Danganronpa fan, then you shouldn't hesitate to pick this one up. If you are new to the series, however, try the demo first to make sure the game is right for you.

Despite its garish, over-the-top veneer, Danganropa V3: Killing Harmony is an emotional, involving, brilliant game that will yank out your heart and run it over with its brightly coloured tricycle.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony literally stood by its name and kills any harmony that may exist at the beginning of the game. With a sorta new chapter for the series, prepare yourself to question everything and everyone up until the credits end, in what promises to be the biggest killing game of the franchise.

Although Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony borrows heavily from the entries that have come before it, feeling like more of the same, it does a great job of staying engaging throughout the majority of the story, thanks to the appealing characters that the series has always been known for, and due to the murder cases that continue to keep players guessing right through each trial. The ending is going to be a talking point for the foreseeable future, but while it is probably time for an evolution of the franchise, devotees to the previous games will find just as much enjoyment here as before.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is a great visual novel with trial elements, and is fun to play through. Given its style, it will definitively not be for everyone, but if you give it a try, I'm sure you'll be in for a treat as this offers dozens of hours of gameplay – not to mention very long trials to take on each potential murderer!

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is a good game. It manages to deliver a cast that lives up to previous alumni and stories that are on par with the best the series has produced. The Class Trials are just as fun, mostly, and the murders smart little enigmas. This should have been a home run, but, it isn't. The narrative choice made is going to be massively divisive in the fan base. It's a bold choice; it's an interesting choice; it's the wrong choice. Sometimes it can be about the destination and not the journey, especially if the driver suddenly swerves into a wall.

It goes without saying that Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is for longtime fans. Everything fans love about the series is present in this installment but it's definitely not a good starting point for newcomers since the story does continue from previous entries.

I would give this higher, but I know later down the line and looking back this is by no means a 9 or even 10 in terms of the game's scope. But if the writing kept its pacing from start to finish, it would've matched the astonishing soundtrack, blistering court cases, impeccable murders, and superb characters. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to find myself a tissue for the tears I shed to those lost in this Killing Game.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is an unforgettable experience and thanks to it's daring approach to sensitive social topics and also it's unbelievable surprises, we have the most controversial danganronpa game to date. Although the structure of the environments doesn't have the identity and regularity of the first two games and also overuse of flashbacks hurts the experience, but the almost flawless narrative and plenty of gameplay improvements, makes this entry a must play for fans of the genre

That can all be true, and I can still be mad about V3 for its mishandling of such a contentious theme, primarily because it led to such a hazy and frustrating ending. But maybe this is a sign that Danganronpa has run its course – after V3, I’m almost certain that there’s no one-upping its meta-meta conclusion without it starting to get even more wanky.

An intellectually (if not aesthetically) pleasing visual novel that may only appeal to regulars of the franchise. While Danganronpa v3 has it's own unique story-line not connected to the other games and a good mix of quirky characters, I can't help but feel like I missed my ride on the hype train for not having played the other titles first.

Even though it's not as fresh as it was back when the first chapter launched, the base concept around which Danganronpa V3 revolves is still very strong, and, aided by brilliant writing and strong character design, makes this visual novel hard to miss for all the fans of the genre.

Overall, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is yet another excellent installment in the franchise, delivering up another set of grisly murders and the well-crafted conundrums and kangaroo courts that result from them while still keeping a focus on black humor and twisted school life.
