Project CARS 2 Reviews
Project CARS 2 simply hits every single thing out of the park.
This is a game made by fans for fans, and while it's not perfect, it's unique, and a hell of a lot of fun.
Figuring out how to drive properly is all a part of the simulation, but it ends up feeling more tedious than anything. It might satisfy someone looking for a deeper challenge and added realism within the genre, but newcomers and less hardcore fans are better off sticking with Gran Turismo or Forza.
Slightly Mad Studios appears to have taken the feedback of the fans into consideration when developing the sequel resulting in a product that is a solid upgrade over the original Project CARS. This might not be the perfect racing simulator but it definitely offers the best package overall in term of the visuals and the gameplay simulation.
Project Cars 2 has the potential to be one of the best racing simulators, thanks to the wonderful tracks, variety, and awesome vehicles, but AI flaws and a plethora of strange technical issues prevent it from being a consistently great experience.
Although Project CARS 2 is a driving simulator, you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy it, and that’s the main goal of the game. Despite some minor technical and AI problems, Project CARS 2’s huge set of options and a vast collection of cars easily make it one the best racing games available on the market.

Slightly Mad Studios seems to have aspirations towards this being the next big thing in e-sports racing, and while they've got the foundation to do that, key elements of the game will need to be addressed. In a genre starving for fresh blood, Project Cars 2 is a welcome addition, but also a currently incomplete one..
With Project CARS 2, Slightly Mad Studios did not aim to simply improve what its predecessor had achieved. Even with some performance issues, the huge amount of tracks and cars, great physics system and a gorgeous sound design make Project CARS 2 the best and most complete racing game ever made.

Project CARS 2 is a huge step forward in the racing saga developed by the talented guys at Slightly Mad Studios, a game capable of incredible things thanks to its dynamic day/night cycle and variable climate conditions, that make every race different. Thanks to the possibility to customize your driving experience to full manual, you will find in Project CARS 2 an extremely curated product that will keep you company for several months to come.

At its core, Project CARS 2 is a racing simulator -- not an arcade street race. You'll need to buckle in, but the reward is worth it.
Project Cars 2 is a great racing simulator that excels in every possible way, making it hard to play and almost impossible to master. Every victory will feel like winning a championship in real life. The only downside is that using a controller is almost impossible to play, you really need to play with a racing wheel.

A proficient sim-racer that brings a lot to the table - both in content and playability. Would have been great to see the base Xbox One version maybe lose a bit of the graphical sparkle in exchange for a 60 FPS lock, but that's more commentary of the power of the Xbox, rather than the game.
Project CARS 2 won't please all racing game fans, but it'll delight those who crave realism and a challenge; those who want to push themselves to be better. Is that you?
Project CARS 2 demands some serious time investment, for better or worse. The handling takes some getting used to, but the amount of cars, tracks, and variables makes it a worthwhile title for those looking to get some racing action in.
Project Cars 2 is the ideal choice for those die hard fans of simulation racings out there. Gameplay now is much more smoother with controller than its predecessor and game's dynamic weather system is a striking visual experience. AI can get frustrating at times but the overall experience truly pleases the fans. Project Cars might still be slipstreaming its rivals but it's fast enough to catch them one day.

Overall an amazing game, Project Cars 2 incorporates almost everything a sim racer could ask for, aside from the lack of car customization which is its Achilles heel.
This is a game for enthusiasts and the complexity and scope of tinkering, combined with the need for a racing wheel, only emphasises this point. Project CARS 2 does a lot of things right, and it's easy to fall for the stunning visuals and customisation, but there are some very serious problems to address.
PC2 tried to fix the old problems and It's successfully competing with new games. But they still have a lot to do to reach perfection. There are still some minor and major bugs and some problems with the physics of the game. PC2 is still a terrific game made by a group of talented developers. Surely the next game will be even better as the developers keep getting more experienced.

Despite the Race Director that has it out for the player, and some issues with perspective in cockpit view, Project CARS 2 is one of those games that can fill an entire niche on its own.
