Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis Reviews
Square Enix recognized its failures from the first two DLCs and was able to address some of them in Episode Ignis. It doesn't entirely redeem the season pass, but it is worth picking up piecemeal for five bucks, or as part of the eventual Game of the Year edition. With the last season pass story add-on out, the cycle of Final Fantasy XV is complete.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis is the most impactful character episode yet, and it's easily the most essential. Those already invested in Final Fantasy XV should find a lot to like in terms of additional story elements, and Ignis' flashy, fast, and fluid fighting style keeps enemy encounters engaging. Here's hoping that future episodes build upon what this latest scenario gets right.
Despite one-button battles and ridiculous length, Episode Ignis is the best DLC for Final Fantasy XV with an excellent story, beautiful music, great dynamics and touching scenes, where title character portraited much better than in the main game.

Easily the best DLC episode for Final Fantasy XV, although not without its blemishes.
Episode Ignis is the best proposed dlc of Final Fantasy XV. Thanks to a very fast and fascinating battle system, the hour of play can easily flow: besides the narration is at higher levels than the previous DLC and offers interesting additions.

Episode Ignis is the best DLC of Noctis's three friends, presenting us with an excellent soundtrack, a gameplay with new and functional mechanics, an interesting story and even an alternate ending. The downsides are the duration and basically the lack of new enemies.

With fast-paced action, a gripping story, and some truly startling revelations that reshape perceptions of the overall story, Episode Ignis is a must-play for FFXV fans.
A model DLC that succeeds in adding texture to the main game's story and characters and fills in a lot of gaps, in addition to offering a different gameplay and battle style. You can't ask for more from a DLC.

Episode Ignis is far from a perfect dish, but with plenty of seasoning in the pot, it's possibly the tastiest of the bunch, and adds some much needed flavour to the main game.
Episode Ignis tells a well-made and, at times, emotional story with decent gameplay that only suffers from some unnecessary padding and some goofy voice-work.
